Chapter 32

"I'm so ready" I whispered closing my eyes. He wrapped his arms around me letting me fall asleep with his warmth. I came in and out of sleep with slight movements. Ever since being in this form I have been more anxious about being attacked.

"(Y/n) what's wrong" Adrian mumbles opening his green eyes. I shook my head "I'm just worried" I stated. "Why, your safe now" he said still drowsy. I left his grip and stood up stretching. "I'm not safe anymore, I know they are looking for me" I sighed.

"Your safe, they can't hurt you" he said in a calming voice. I smiled before sitting back down and leaning into him to fall asleep.

I woke up to the sun in my eyes, I yawned turning my gaze to Adrian who was playing with my hair. "Morning Love" he smiled letting me stand and stretch. "Morning, how did you sleep?" I asked. I watched him stand "I slept well" he said giving me a quick kiss before going to the fridge and grabbing left over eggs.

"So I was thinking we should get you to transform back after we eat" Adrian spoke looking at me. I nodded before stuffing the food in my mouth and going to the washroom to look at my reaper form one last time till I needed to transform again. I looked at my long white hair and my crimson and green eyes with a small smile.

"(Y/n) come on" Adrian called. I shook my head snapping back into reality and walking back to him. I followed him out the front door and led me to a grassy area covered by trees.

"Lay down I will guide you through the process" he said. I nodded laying down in the grass and closing my eyes. "Think about what you want" he explained. I thought about transforming back into my normal hybrid form."imagine your body changing back to its normal self" I did as told trying to maintain the image. "Now imagine a stand for your scythe and once it appear place the scythe down on it" he said, I felt my body be moved to lay on him.

I saw a stone statue appear in front of me, it was a woman her hand was held out and she looked nice and inviting. I walked over and handed my scythe to the statue and began to feel a burning sensation. I felt the same pain as before in my body but it was like it was moving out of me. I could feel the magic energy slowly leave as the pain faded.

"Open your eyes" I heard Adrian whisper. I slowly opened them and blinked a few times. It was dark and I could see the moon through the trees. I looked at Adrian and smiled, I felt weaker yet more peaceful. "Am I back?" I asked sitting up.

"Yes"
