͙✧˖°࿐ Another three weeks went by with no major issues. Ganyu continued to do her paperwork and to work on her Almond Tofu making skills, as after every training session with Xiao she would make some for the two of them.

Training with Xiao was difficult. He was harsh but his methods work. She could now at least use her cryo vision on command, but she still had no idea how to do any of Ganyu's attacks from in the game.

Xiao had also asked a bit about the future, but she only gave bits and pieces about what was supposed to happen, and gave him the reason of "breaking the already kinda confusing as fuck now that I know multiple dimensions exist time space continuum."

It was the fourth Sunday of training with Xiao, and they were having a small break.

"The Rite of Descension is soon."

Xiao nodded.

"Wanna watch it with me?"

His head snapped towards her, his face wrought with confusion and... horror?

"Hey, it was just a question, boo."

"What did you just call me?"

"Boo. It's like a term of endearment in my world. But do you wanna come with me?"

Xiao grimaced, "Nothing good will come of me spending time around humans. People will only get hurt."

"I mean, I doubt that, but you do you, boo," she shrugged, "I was thinking that we don't need to be close up to the ceremony, or you could just like, not have your spear out or anything but it's up to you in the end."

He stood up.

"Let's get back to training."

Ganyu sighed, "Alright then."

͙✧˖°࿐"May Rex Lapis bless you with good fortune!"

"Ah, yeah! You too, Dongmei!"

It was the day of the Rite of Descension, and Ganyu and Dongmei were finishing up a few things before they went to the ceremony. Dongmei would be attending with her fiance.

I finally get to see what a normal Rite of Descension looks like!

Her excitement was bubbling up, she was almost unable to contain it. Hopefully it would like up to her expectations and not be a bore.

It's sad that Xiao didn't come...

I'll get him to come to the Lantern Rite though! That's for sure!

With positive thoughts, she skipped out of the office and over to Yujing Terrace. Pausing to greet Madame Ping ( The best character, her mind supplied ) and gaze at the glaze lilies for a moment.

"They really are beautiful, aren't they?"

"Oho, you are not wrong, Little Ganyu. They truly are one of the most beautiful things in Liyue."

Ganyu nodded, then turned to Madame Ping, "Perhaps one day they will be able to spread throughout the rest of Liyue yet again."

"Indeed," Madame Ping said with a somber smile, "perhaps one day..."

No more words were spoken as Ganyu walked away.

She let out a breath when she was far enough away from the other Adeptus. She hated pretending to be Ganyu and acting like her, but no one besides Xiao knew the truth, and it would be weird if she were to act differently.
