✧˖°࿐ Fifty years passed. Ganyu returned to her job, avoiding Wanghsu and leaving the Harbor as much as possible. She hadn't ever had a falling out like that with anyone, and it hurt . So of course, the only logical explanation was to avoid her problems.

She finally began to spend consistent time with Tian, every week on Saturday they would meet and talk while walking through Liyue Harbor. Ganyu mostly told stories of Dongmei, of times when things were good .

Eventually Tian picked up the "Little Ganyu" nickname from the game, after he had married a wonderful woman and had Huixin. In that time, Ningguang became the Tianquan after Junkai retired. She was nice enough, but just as serious as Junkai was.

Throughout the half-century, Ganyu had thought about trying to reconnect with Xiao. Every single time she thought about it, her mind supplied the angered face of her former friend. Nothing but guilt filled her, but she did not act to rekindle the friendship.

It was one day, about a week after a meeting with Ningguang about some sort of foreign diplomats or something or rather coming, that she realized that she should have paid attention to that meeting.

"Hey, excuse me!"

Originally, Ganyu had thought it wasn't for her, so she kept walking.

"Uh- Hey, miss with the horns!"

She stopped. That one was definitely meant for her, no one else had horns. She looked over her shoulder and her mouth went agape.

Jogging up to her was a certain Ajax, Tartaglia, Childe.

"You're Ganyu, right? My grandparents told me about you and your offer!"

She didn't respond.

"Hey, are you okay?"

She snapped out of her stupor, "Oh, yes! My apologies! You're Yeva and Maxim's grandson, right?"

"Yup, that's me! You know when my grandparents said they had a friend, I totally thought you were going to be like a wrinkly old woman."

"Wow. Rude."

"Haha! Don't take it personally! You'd think the same if your grandparents told you about a friend."

"Hmm, I suppose," she nodded, "It was nice to meet you, Childe. Maybe we can talk over lunch sometime, but for now I need to get back to work. Goodbye for now!"

She turned away from him and began speed walking instinctively towards Wangshu Inn. She did not hear what Childe said afterwards.

"I didn't tell her my name..."

It was only when she reached Wangshu Inn that she realized that she had no reason to be here. No one knew her, as she hadn't been there since that fateful day. As she looked to the sky, not only was it getting dark, but it seemed as though it would rain soon.

She sighed, knowing she would have to stay the night. With several reservations, Ganyu began to make her way up the stairs to see Verr Goldet. She made it inside to the main counter right as the rain began.

"Um, excuse me."

Verr Goldet, who was reading a book, looked up, "Yes, how can I help you?"

"Is there a room I can get for the night?"

Verr opened up a book, most likely the logs of check ins and checkouts.

"I apologize, but it seems that no rooms are open right now."
