͙✧˖°࿐ The day after the Rite of Descension was back to the ordinary. While still being a little mopey that it wasn't exciting, Ganyu managed to get her work done after being slightly late due to needing to get back from Wangshu in the morning.

While Xiao wasn't in the room when she woke up, she still made the bed (to the best of her capabilities, she couldn't do anything domestic besides make Almond Tofu to save her life) and called out a goodbye and another thank you to him.

Dongmei seemed happier, as she had been able to spend her day with Feng, her fiance and a member of the Milileth. But she almost seemed too happy for that...

"Excuse me, Dongmei?"

She was brought out of her happy little world, "Uh, yes Miss Ganyu?"

"Did something happen yesterday?" she then realized how badly her words could be taken, and began waving her arms around, "UM! IT'S JUST BECAUSE YOU SEEM REALLY HAPPY! AND YOU HAD BEEN COMING INTO WORK KIND OF LATE AND DIDN'T LOOK TOO GOOD AND I WAS WORRIED FOR YOU BUT YOU LOOK SUPER HAPPY AND--"

Dongmei gave out a hearty laugh, "I'm glad to know Miss Ganyu cares about me. But yes, I am especially happy today. Not only did Feng and I finalize the plans for our wedding, but we found out something very special is going to be happening in around six months."

"Do you mean the Lantern Rite? That's happening in six months, right? No, that's just five months away..."

"Miss Ganyu," Dongmei gave another laugh, "I'm pregnant."

"Eh?"

"I'm pregnant. Feng and I are going to have a baby."

Ganyu stood there stunned for a moment, before rushing up to her friend and engulfing her in a hug, "Ohhh I'm so happy for you! Have you figured anything out about the baby?"

"Well, if it's a girl we were thinking about naming her Qiaolin, though I did suggest naming her Ganyu," Dongmei quipped.

With a giggle, Ganyu shook her head, "It would be quite awkward for a kid's favorite aunt to have the same name as them."

"Wait, aunt?"

"You expect me to not be there for your child when you need me to be? Please! I'm going to spoil the little brat so much, that they'll become the most pretentious kid around!"

Dongmei's laughter echoed throughout the room, "I'd prefer if my child did not become a pretentious brat, thank you very much."

"Hmph, fine. I guess I can just bring some snacks whenever I visit. But anyways, what's the name you decided if they're going to be a boy?"

"If it's to be a boy, then they will be named Tian."

Ganyu's brain stopped working.

"Miss Ganyu?"

"Well uh, if little Tian doesn't become the Tian shu then I'm going to have to quit my job," she recovered with a wink.

Her friend laughed again, unaware of what just the name of her child meant for Teyvat.

Xiao stared at Ganyu pacing around.

"If you consider 60-ish years soon, then yeah. If it's the Tian I think it is."

Ganyu had immediately gone to tell Xiao of the development. She didn't know Uncle Tian's exact age in the game, but he was an old (but not old ) man, so anywhere from 50 to 70 years could be how long it will take for the traveler to arrive after being "cubed."
