✧˖°࿐ Wood from the tree of the Guili Plains, a platinum silk inside with thick cushioning, the smell of Qingxin flowers would be potent once she was laid to rest.

And it was expensive.

"Repeat that?"

"That will be 1.5 million mora!"

"For a coffin?!"

"Awwww," Hu Tao pouted, "I already gave you half off! I'm running a business here!"

Ganyu sweatdropped, "I suppose... I'd need to visit the bank in order to make the payment though."

"That's fine! We can wait as long as you need!"

Afterwards they finished up the exchange, with Hu Tao seemingly forgetting that she found Ganyu on the floor. She was thankful that she supposedly didn't remember, but now she had to worry about the fact that Zhongli knew.

I'm going to need to tell Xiao about this.

She shook her head as she left Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.

He wants nothing to do with me. I shouldn't bother him.

There would be no doubt that he would find out eventually, but for now she had other things to worry about. Not only was the Rite of Descension a mere few months away, but she was constantly looking over her shoulder just waiting for Childe to pop out and drag her on a "date."

It didn't take terribly long, considering the surprisingly long amount of time it took to decide upon how the coffin would look. It wasn't even an hour later that Childe grabbed her from behind by her shoulder.

"Well, I promised you a date, didn't I?"

Ganyu nervously sweatdropped, "Yes... I suppose you did..."

"Well then," he moved his hand down to her hand, intertwining their fingers, "Let's head out then, yes?"

Ganyu let herself be dragged (because as much as she hated to admit it, she did spend money back home to get Childe, what a simp she was) only speaking up once they went past all of the restaurants in the city, instead heading in the direction of Bubu Pharmacy.

"I sure hope you didn't plan a date in a place full of drugs so you can drug me and kidnap me."

Childe let out a hearty laugh, "Please! If I wanted to do that, I would've done it already!"

"Mmhm. I'm pretty sure you'd just have a hard time explaining to Teucer why you have the best looking lady in all of Liyue unconscious in your house."

They were past the pharmacy at this point, heading up the little path in the back of the small plaza beneath it. Clearly having lost all of her brain cells over the past sixty years, she didn't realize something was wrong until she kept walking and ran into a frozen Childe.

"So you weren't lying."

"Eh? What do you mean?"

He looked at her over his shoulder, his dead eyes staring into her soul, "There's a saying in Liyue, about the walls. I'm sure you've heard it."

"Well, yeah. The walls have..."

Ears.

The walls have ears.

He's literally the one to say this in the game.

While her smile was still plastered on her face, her mouth was open and her eyes were widened in realization.
