"Taraji POV"

I woke up with a bunch of people in my face. "Taraji can you hear me," says the doctor flashing a light in my face.

Suddenly I was in pain my stomach felt like I was being stabbed in it. The pain was unbearable, and I screamed. "Something is wrong with my baby doctor. My belly hurts so bad please save my little one," I cried out.

"Every one but Mr. Neverson leave the room," said the doctor. "What's going to happen doctor?" Trey asks frightened. "

"We're going to do an emergency C section to save the baby who is unresponsive," says the Doctor. "Doctor Bryant we are now going into the emergency Cesarean procedure," says the assistant nurse.

"Trey POV"

I felt my knees buckle, for more than one reason not only are they about to bring our unborn in the world, but I'm also going to be a father. I've always know this in the back of my head. The thought always made me happy, but now it really hit me.

I grabbed my bottle of water and took a drink so that I could really come to reality of it all. "Baby come over here," says Taraji panting.

"Baby I ain't gone hold your hand, I seen what Ant Viv did to the butlers hand on The Fresh Prince," I said with a straight face. "Tremaine you Dont gotta hold my fucking hand just bring your ass," she screamed. I walked over nervously, and sweaty.

Doctor Bryant gave Taraji an epidural, and spinal anesthesia for pain, with both of our consent. Before they begin the procedure they clean, sanitize, and prep Tarajis abdomen, where they will cut her open for the C-Section. They placed IVs in her veins to provide the medication and fluids she needs during this procedure. They also gave her an antacid to reduce the chance of an upset stomach during the procedure. After she was sedated enough and her fluids were flowing as they should, the doctors begin to cut.

The doctor made and incision in her abdominal wall horizontally, near the pubic hairline known as the bikini cut incision. After that the doctor begin what's called a uterine incision, to be able to remove the baby.

I could feel slight pressure as the Doctor began to remove my baby. Once the doctor had my baby in the air the first thing I noticed, was my baby is a girl. The next thing I noticed was she was bluish purple, meaning she wasn't breathing.

"My baby my baby my baby, " I began to cry out. The doctors cleaned her mouth and nose of fluids from the placenta. Trey fell to his knees crying, and I laid back and cried, my baby girl didn't make it. I overheard the doctor call it a coffin death that means the baby died due to complications during labor.

I demanded to hold my child before they took her away from me. Trey came over and kissed her, and so did I as we cried over her lifeless body. It had been maybe 3 or 4 minutes since delivery. We knew for a fact she was gone.

Just as we were about to give her back she started to scream. Tears flowed from Trey and my eyes. My baby girl is alive I was so happy I love her so much.

Trey cut her umbilical cord, the doctor wrapped her in the hospital blanket and put a hat on her head, the one they give all babies. Trey kissed her for head, and handed her to me all I could do is smile.

The doctors removed the placenta, from my uterus and closed the incision.
