𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐇𝐔𝐃𝐃𝐋𝐄𝐃
Around a large oak tree after school, the September sun cast a pale orange cast over the landscape. The trio went to look for the boys after the long school day.
"what's happening?" narcissa asks. y/n squints, attempting to see what everyone is staring at.
"i'm not sure-"
"y/n!" a voice sobbed behind her. y/n turned to see reign sprinting towards her.
"oh merlin, reign what happened." y/n asked, kneeling down in front of her comfortingly.
"myrtle....s-she threw George in a tree...." reign cried. y/n felt anger surge through her.
"where, reign? I'll get him back for you." y/n said, standing and walking toward the tree.
"What is she doing?" Lucius asks Avery and Tom behind him.
"she is about to beat the shit out of myrtle...." Marina muttered. reign pointed to a branch, the grey elephant laid gently on a branch.
"i'll get it." y/n said, marching towards the tree.
"y/n! you daft use your wand!" Narcissa said.
"i don't have it!" she replied, as she set her hands on the large tree trunk, pulling herself onto the branch.
"you're going to kill yourself!" Avery said.
"i'm a beater, i'll be fine!" y/n responded, balancing on the tree branch. myrtle and her friends snickered below the tree.
"myrtle! once i get down you're next!" y/n said, scaring the younger girls off. reign smiled in admiration as y/n climbed the next branch, grabbing the stuffed elephant, tossing it down. Tom caught it, an annoyed expression on his face, as he handed the toy to reign, marching away from the scene. y/n jumped to the branch nearest the ground, using the branch to flip over, and land on her feet gracefully. reign clapped and ran towards her, engulfing her in a hug. Students called and praised y/n, as she took a bow. she looked over at her friends, seeing them clapping, and Tom walking off. Narcissa and Marina ran towards her, hugging her tightly.
"wow i thought you were about to die!" marina joked.
"c'mon, let's go to dinner!"
the group went to the great hall, students piled in behind them. the group talking, making small talk and joking as food piled in front of them. her mind wandered to ana. hopefully the money she'd given her before she left.
