"𝐓𝐎𝐌?" 𝐘/𝐍 𝐀𝐒𝐊𝐄𝐃,𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆...
On Tom's door. Tom stared at the door for his bed, contemplating. Y/n stepped back when she heard nothing. Christmas was tomorrow, and the last thing she wanted was for him to be alone. Y/n's parents were preparing for Rome, like they usually do for Christmas.
"Please?" She asked quietly. Tom stood, opening the door, revealing a now smiling y/n.
"What?" Tom asked quietly.
"Everyone's leaving...but I want to show you something..." y/n muttered.
"Leaving?"
"Yes, well my parents go to Rome for Christmas every year and I always send Ana home to her daughter for Christmas...." y/n explained. Tom nodded, with a slight frown.
"Can I show you now?" Y/n asked. Tom's mouth gaped open quickly.
"Yeah...I mean sure." Tom said. Y/n nodded, turning away from the door, back towards the girl who waited patiently for him. Tom gave the girl a reassuring look before she began to walk down the long halfway, down the grab stairs towards the west wing of the house. They passed large paintings, walking up multiple flights of grand staircases before reaching a door. Y/n leaned to her shoe, pulling out a small key. Odd.
She quickly pushed the key in the old door, pushing it open earning a groan from the doors hinges. Y/n stepped aside for Tom to walk in. It was a large room, with large staircases that went up to the ceiling, filled with old books. Tom's jaw practically fell to the floor.
"I was in here last night and...." Y/n began, pulling Tom towards the farthest corner of the room. Tom flinched at the sudden tug of his limb from the smaller girl. His lips twitched as he glanced down at her, still in her pale pink night gown that fell to knees, and her slippers from the night before.
"My father made this...and I haven't made it through all the books yet, but I found these." Y/n explained, pulling a few thick books from the shelf. Tom watched carefully, as she turned around, releasing her hold on his hand, pushing the books into his chest, gesturing for him to hold them. Tom held them against his chest, as y/n picked up a few on her own, guiding the couple towards a small wooden desk nearby. Tom glanced at the covers.
'Horcruxes: explained, dark magic 101, the do's and dont's of horcrux's, history of horcrux making.' The covers read. Tom's stomach fell as he glanced at y/n who stood nervously waiting for his response, or more accurately, his approval of her good doings.
"My, you've outdone yourself, De Lune." He stated, turning to her, patting the top of her head, before sitting at the chair in front of the desk. Y/n smiled at his praise, sitting at the nearby couch as she watched him with bewildered eyes.
