Of her black dress. The cold air nipped at her nose, as she sat on an uncomfortable plastic chair in the middle of a graveyard. Narcissa sat at her left, Charlie at her right as the priest stood ahead of them on a pedestal.

It was January 10th, 5 days since her father had died. Her mother immediately planned a funeral for her father, she figured it was because she wanted the sympathy, which, of course she received.

"Y/n?" No response. The only thing that had y/n's attention was the crowd of people behind her. Everyone but him. Narcissa placed her hand on y/n's. Y/n didn't move, only looked around more frantically. The priest continued giving a speech about random nothings, as y/n, chest heaved up and down. Up down, up down, up down, until the rhythm pounded into her ears.

"Mr. De Lune will be missed by his nearest and dearest family and friends." The priest consoles. Her mother lets out a loud, obnoxious sob, earning looks of sadness and pity from bystanders. Y/n couldn't feel anything. A burning hole formed in her chest, hallowed her entirely as everyone's eyes seemed to wander over to her and her mother, as if they expected her to cry, beg for him to return to save her from her mother. But nothing.
There was nothing. She let out a shaky breathe as people began to stand, grabbing a rose from a pile and dropping it into the 6 feet deep hole in the earth.

"C'mon, lo." Avery whispered, pulling her up from the seat, placing a hand in the small of her back, guiding her towards the hole. Y/n's mind hadn't lost the fuzzy feeling it gained when Dippet sat her down in his office. Narcissa glanced at her friend sympathetically, her gaze faking to Charlie who trailed behind, letting Avery comfort y/n.

Y/n stared in front of her in a cloudy daze. She'd looked like that for weeks. She'd grabbed a white rose from the table, glancing at the hole, the wooden box placed at the bottom. Her emotions jumped within themselves at once, as she let out a quiet sob. Avery quickly caught her falling figure, the rose fell into the hole as she collapsed. Narcissa's face scrunched as she held in sobs. Lucius and Marina closed the circle entirely, as they crowded around y/n, who sobbed into Avery's suit jacket. Her mother watched with a blank gaze, everyone else watched in sympathy.

The black's pulled their eldest daughter away from the scene, Mrs.William cradled her daughter in her arms, hugging her tightly.
Reign held tightly to her brother's hand, as they observed the friends in a heap on the floor. Tears streamed down her pale cheeks, as she glanced at her brother, who stared blankly at the pile.
