taking a final drag of his cigarette before tossing it in the large rose bush.

"Ah! Thomas!" Ana says excitedly. Tom cringes, stepping into the mansion.

"She'll be down any moment." Ana says, tapping Tom on the shoulder before walking back to her chores. Tom glanced around the large entrance way that led to the foyer and the staircase. He'd felt like he'd seen it a million times before, and he'd hoped to see it a million more times.

"Hi..." y/n said, fastly walking down the stairs. Tom looked up, seemingly not noticing her as he was so deep in the crevices of his brain.

"Hey, are you ready?" Tom asked. Y/n nodded.

"How are we getting there? I mean, there will be muggles"

"Don't remind me." Tom muttered. Y/n frowned.

"If you don't want-"

"No, no." Tom reassured. Y/n's smile returned.

"Lucius is allowing us to use his truck"

"His truck?"

"Yes, he hides it in the woods from his parents so he can sneak away when he's home." y/n stared at him for a moment, mouth slightly agape.

"Sounds about right."

The sun was mostly set when the teenagers arrived at the muggle drive in - which was basically empty albeit the two other cars that sat yards away from the truck that y/n drove (much to Tom's dismay)

"Y/n." Tom said sternly.

"Yeah?" Y/n asked softly, unbuckling her seat belt and settling in. Tom placed his hands beneath her armpits, picking her up and pulling her towards him, placing her in his lap.

"Better?" she asked after a few seconds.

"Much." Tom responded, resting his head in the crevice of her neck. Y/n smiled, leaning her head against his as the humming melody of "Moonriver" began to play through the car's speaker, which had been tuned to the drive-in's station to play the film's dialogue.
