Part IV

"Where are you going this early?"

"I am going to the university." I grab my bag and snatch the apple on his hand.

He looked at me confuse and raise his eyebrow. "It's saturday. You don't have any classes and it's not normal for you to have any plans when weekend starts. Are you okay?"

"Stop being so dramatic about me waking up this early. I am meeting Y/N." I hear an 'Oh' from him and saw him nodding his head. "Don't you have class?"

"It was cancelled. My professor is taking a leave today." He stand up and get a carton of milk in the fridge. "You're going on a date with her? This early?"

"Duh, no. I am helping her with her research."

He laugh at my response. "So you two are on that stage already."

"Stop making it sensual, hyung."

"What? I am just saying that it's been almost a month since the two of you started being 'close'." He put an emphasis on the word 'close' making me roll my eyes at him. "I rarely see you at the uni and you often reject me whenever I asked you to have lunch with me."

I scratch my head and give him an apologetic smile. "I promise to have lunch with you on Monday."

"It's okay, Yoongi. As long as you are happy I am happy. Enjoy it while it last." He wink at me making me chuckle. "Is Y/N already there?"

My phone vibrate and saw her name on my notification. "Hyung, I need to go. She's on her way. Talk to you later." I wave my hand and hurriedly leave our apartment without waiting for his reply.

She wave her hand at me and smile. A smile automatically forming on my lips as I walk my way to her.

"Did you wait long?" I ask before sitting in front of her. "I was stuck in a traffic jam."

"It's fine, Yoongi. I should be the one apologizing as I am taking one of your rest days. I know you should still be sleeping right now but you are here helping me."

"It's fine really and besides I am the one who offer to help you." I look at all the books on the table. "Wow. You almost emptied the shelves."

She laugh and playfully hit me. "Better to be prepared than not, righ?1"

"Right." I check the books that she got and nod my head in approval. "You really know what you are doing, Y/N. I'll give you a credit for that."

"I didn't even get a wink of sleep for these. So thank you for appreciating my effort." She immediately look at me with wide eyes. "Omg. I probably looked like a zombie right now."

"You don't." I said while shaking my head. "But even if you are, you still look beautiful to me." I give her a wink and see how her cheeks turned bright pink.

"Smooth." She covers her face with a book making me chuckle at her action. "But please stop teasing me." She mumbled causing me to chuckle a bit louder. "I can't focus on my work."

I raised both of my hands signaling defeat while telling her I'll stop. A grin appeared on my face when I saw a slight pout on her lips. "Y/N, stop being so adorable or I might only stare at you the whole day." I said while leaning my back on the chair.

"Sorry for being so adorable without even trying." She shrug her shoulders and focus her eyes on the book in front of her.

"You should stop talking with Jin Hyung. You're adapting his personality."

She roll her eyes at me jokingly while handing me a book "Read. Now." I raise my arm in a triumphant salute and get the book from her immediately.

"Yoongi, I guess making you busy on weekends make you crazy."

"Probably. But it's only because I am crazy about you."

"Shut up!" She said before throwing a crumpled paper on my face. "I didn't sign up for a flirty Min Yoongi today."

"Guess he decided to appear to entertain you a bit."

"And it's a bad idea." She said before letting out a hearty chuckle.

I see Y/N's eyes dropping, she's almost close to dozing off. I told her that we can already call it a day and that she can go home and rest but she refuse saying she wants to finish it within thw day becuase she feel guilty for ruining my weekend.

"Y/N, I told you it's okay. Besides I don't have any plan this weekend so making it a bit productive by helping you is a good one than sleeping for the whole day."

"But still-"

"No buts." I stand up. "I am getting you a coffee since you don't want to go home."

"I'll come with you." She was about to stand up but I stop her.

"Just wait for me here and rest your eyes." She nod her head and give me a cheeky smile while mouthing 'Thank you.'

But before I can even leave the library I received a call from Y/N.

"You miss me already? It's not even been 5 minutes since I left."

"Shut up. I just want to ask you out for dinner later."

"Y/N, you can just tell me that one when I get back no need to be excited about it."

"I changed my mind. I am not treating you to dinner." She hung up leaving me with an amuse smile on my face.

'Oh, Y/N. Stop making my heart skip a beat.'

'One venti americano and one venti flat white for Yoongi!'

I immediately stand up to retrieve the coffee while giving the barista a smile. I hurriedly made my way out of the cafe with an excited smile. Imagining if Y/N literally doze off while waiting for me. Her cute face literally filled my mind making me laugh while shaking my head. I was about to enter our college building when I hear someone calling my name.

"Yoongi?"

My body froze. I slowly turn my head and see her. Standing some meters away from me. My grip tighten on the coffee cup holder I am holding, making my knuckles turned paler. I clench my jaw, my breathing ragged.

"It's you." She approached me slowly giving me again that smile. "I thought my eyes are playing tricks on me."

"Why are you here?" My voice full of bitterness. She was taken aback but she still smile at me.

"I just drop something off. Are you heading back already?"

"What do you think?"

"How are you?" She asked with a soft voice.

"You're really going to ask me that one?" I said while giving her a snort. "Don't know you're this unbelievable."

"I am sorry." She took a step forward trying to reach for my face. "I don't have any choice. Can we talk? Let me just expla-"

"Well you did." I take a step back. "But it doesn't matter anymore. Save your explanation for yourself." Her eye glisten making my chest tighten. "I hope this is the last time I'll bump into you because I never want to see you anymore. Ever." I said turning my back restraining myself from coming back to where I left her.
