If She Fall

Part XIX

[[ June 05, 2021, 08:30 p.m. - Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul ]]

"Hyung. I'll be coming home late tonight."

"Are you going to Y/N?"

"I am." I said smiling. "Also, I feel so light. I never thought I'll be this happy again, hyung. I always think that some heart just can't let go and some love can't be replaced."

"But it does and Y/N prove you that." I can hear his grin from the phone. "You found her when you never wanted to be found, Yoongi. She fills the emptiness inside you and picked up the pieces of yourself you left on those unknown space you get stuck at without you knowing it."

"She did. That's why I am in love with her even when I know I am not yet finished picking up my broken self, even when a part of me still stay with someone else. I know I was not healed that time, that I was still grieving, and was still calling for a name I was so familiar about."

"She wiped away the loneliness and emptiness Chaeyeon had brought you. She made you realized that the love you had before is just a learning curve for you to know how to stand on those time you fall. She taught you something you never knew you need, Yoongi."

"That's why I chose her."

"And I am glad you did."

"It's the bestest choice I ever did, hyung."

"I know, Yoongi. And I am happy for you."

[[ June 05, 2021, 9:10 p.m. - Hannam-daero, Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul ]]

I immediately get out of my car and run, a smile never leaving my face. It was the best decision I've ever made on my life and I know I will never regret this one.

I abruptly knock on the door, excitement flooding me and I could have sworn I almost lose my breath when I saw her standing in front of me, looking beautiful as ever, her disheveled hair falling freely, her almost puffy eye making her look so adorable. She blink her eyes twice making sure it was me who's in front of her.

"Yoong-"

I pull her closer to me and kiss her temple then murmur words of love to her ears. I feel her smile on the crook of my neck. She wrap her small arms around me making me smile. My arms squeezes a fraction tighter, my breathing slow and I can feel her body melting in my arms.

"Did I wake you up?" She shakes her head and snuggle closer to me. "Are you waiting for me?" She nods her head and hug me tighter.

"Y/N. Hey, look at me." She shakes her head and buried her face on my chest. I gently stroke her hair and kiss her temple again. "Is everything all right? Are you okay, sunshine?"

The only response she gives me is pressing herself more closer to me. I feel her body tense and her shoulders slightly shaking. I hear small sobs coming from her making me panic I pull out from the hug and look at her worriedly.

"Y/N, did something happened? Why are you crying?" She keeps her head low, her hands gripping the end of my jacket. "Did I do something wrong?" She shakes her head again. "Tell me, Y/N."

"I thoug-... I thought I'll gonna lose you." She mumbled under her breath. Her face still looking down. "I thought you'll never come back."

"But you know that I'll always come back."

"But you love her."

"But I chose you and everyday I will choose you." I cupped her face and feel her warmth. She close her eyes and a smile form on her lips. "Y/N, I loved her. I know I will always do because she used to have a part of my heart but it doesn't mean she's the one that I need."

"And I never thought you'll really going to choose me."

"Because I am in love with you."

Her eyes widen and her cheeks got painted with a subtle crimson hue. I let out a small chuckle and rub circles on her cheeks.

"Y/N, I used to tell myself that when I fall in love, I won't say those three words as often as others do. That I don't want them to be the period to my sentences because I don't want them to lose their meaning. That I would only say them when something amazing happens, but then I fell for you and you taught me that that's not the way it works."

"But I never hear those words from you, you know?" She innocently said while looking at me.

"I know. Because I want to tell them to you when the doubt in you vanished completely." I tuck the strands of her hair on her ears and give her a smile.

"You know I never doubted you. I was just scared." A small sigh escape her mouth. "That I am not good enough to make you stay."

"But you are. You are more than enough to keep me at bay, to keep me in motion, to keep me on track." I reach for her hands and interlocked our fingers. My gaze never leaving her. "You, Yang Y/N, is love personified and I wouldn't ask for more."

"And I wouldn't ask for anyone other than you."

"Y/N, I want you to listen to every word that I am going to say, okay?"

"Okay."

I took a deep breath and took a step closer to her.

"When I walk on an empty street and I would get accustomed to the deafening silence while thinking of you. I love you."

I bring her hands to my lips and kiss them.

"When I close my eyes, painfully slow, and then see your smiling face painting the darkness. I love you."

I slowly let go of her hands and gently cupped her face.

"When I hear your voice in a cold rainy day making me warmth by simply listening to it. I love you."

I lean closer to her and kiss her forehead, letting my lips stay there for some seconds. I slowly move away from her and look at her, letting myself be drown within those brown eyes.

"When I say your name and somehow, it'll sound way more beautiful than it actually is that I would just melt right there wondering if you know how much you mean to me. I love you."

I watched how fresh tears roll from her eyes. I wiped them all away and place gentle kisses on her cheeks.

"You see, I used to tell myself that when I fall in love, I won't say those three words often but with you, I just always want to."

She sniffle her sobs and a lovely laugh came out of her mouth making me lose myself after hearing those. God knows how much I am willing to risk everything I have just to have her for a lifetime.

"Yang Y/N, I love you." I kiss the tip of her nose and place my forehead above hers. "And thank you for being in love with me."

"I wouldn't mind falling too deep if it would be you I am falling with." She gives me one big smile, her eyes smiling to me as well, "I love you too, Min Yoongi."
