I just want to hold you in my arms and say everything is gonna be alright. I know life has been tough on you but you change the way I smile. I hope you know how much you give, how much you're trying. No one ever said life was easy but you are still climbing.

There is no air for me to breathe. There is no way for me to agree that you are hurting. That you are glueing the pieces. Let me hold your heart for you and pretend I am not crying. I will lay my hand for you to reach when you can see that I am here for you. All I wanted was to look into your eyes and convince you everything will be alright. I'd pull you closer if I could but I am afraid we might be doomed to be strangers that share the same life. Somedays it feels like everything is falling apart but I am so proud of the person you call yourself.

I am sorry that I can't be here for you the way I know you need me to but I am still figuring out how to keep my heart safe in all this mess. You should know you can always come to me, even if is just to say nothing in between. You know I'll understand every word you did not speak and will think of hugging you in your sleep.

Sometimes I need to run to keep me safe and I haven't been running because I know you are not ok. But somehow life got in the way and It's making sure my decisions are made. No need to check the time when you are looking at the view. Girl I know the truth in your heart so don't let anybody fool you. You are not made by what others say. You are not bad just because you make mistakes. I assure you your souls is in the right place and it seems like the end of the world but it's just the beginning of a new state.
