How do you confuse grizzly glue for dermaglue? My face is stuck as a zombie and I have to be on stage tomorrow night. How am I meant to go on stage looking like a zombie when my character is supposed to be beautiful?
"If it makes you feel better, I think you're a very pretty zombie," Beck tells me as we reach his car again.
"Thanks I guess," I say. He had gone in with me when Tori texted. Turns out, Cat ran out of dermaglue and used the grizzly glue she found with her dad's tools. Which is pretty much an industrial strength cement, that can only be removed from skin with a special solvent.
Cat and Trina are meant to go after school to get the skin safe solvent, but it's all the way in Bakersfield. Which is two hours away.

This is not what twinning with your best friend is supposed to be like!Suddenly I can see what I didn't before
And I don't care what they say anymoreBeck grabs my hand as we rehearse the final number of the play. Tori and I are still stuck as Zombie's but Cat and Trina should be on their way back from Bakersfield by now.
'Cause I'm Fallin' Fallin
Beck and I turn to each other as everyone sings.
Finally Fallin' Fallin'
"5... 6... 7... 8," Lane says as we reach the end. Beck and I chest to back with our faces turned towards each other. Marty and the crew all jump up in applause.
"That was dynamite!" Marty says as he walks up to us. "Except... Robbie. Is something wrong with your pants?"
"No," Robbie insists. "Why, was I dancing weird?""Uh, no," Marty lies. "It was great." He turns away from Robbie and towards the rest of us. "Now, everyone, go get some water, hydrate and rest up for the show. Tori, Bowie." The two of us turn to him.
"Yeah, what's up?" Tori asks anxiously.
"Your faces," Marty says. "They're still hideous.""We know," Tori sighs.
"Trina and Cat are already on their way back here from Bakersfield with the solvent," Tori assures.
"You're sure?" Marty asks.
"Uh," Tori stutters, making me look at her with wide eyes. "Totally, yes."
"All right," Marty relents and walks away. Tori squeaks and pulls out her phone."You don't actually know if they're on their way back or not, do you?" I accuse.
"Hush!" Tori yells quietly. "I'm calling her now." With a soft growl I stalk off to where Beck and Jade are standing talking."What's wrong?" Beck asks me.
"What's wrong is that I'm still a zombie," I whine. He wraps his arm around my shoulders and pulls me close. With his hand he guides my face into his chest with a sigh.
"I'm sure they'll be back soon," he tries to assure me."Tori doesn't even know if they've gotten the solvent yet," I complain as I pull away just enough to look up at him. He smiles softly at me before pressing a small kiss on my forehead.
"Okay so," Tori says while walking up to us. I turn in Beck's arms so they're still wrapped around me but I'm facing Tori. "Here's the deal, Cat and Trina are still on their way to the factory-"
"WHAT?" I yell.
"I know, I know," she says. "But Trina assured me they'd make it back on time."
"We go on in two hours," I seeth. "It's a two hour drive, there's no way they'll make it back on time.""We just have to hope they do." I groan at her words and turn back into Beck's chest to hide my face.
"I'm going to wring your sister's neck when they get back," I say into Beck's chest. "I can guarantee she's the reason they're running behind."
