Chapter eight: Friday night

I looked down at my outfit and turned myself around in the mirror. Let's make the first move, I thought to myself.

" so it begins" the voice purred. I smirked and replied " oh yes, I can not wait".

I looked down to my little girl Lilith and whispered " wish me luck baby, daddy won't even see it coming". I started to giggle at the thought , I practically couldn't help myself as I whispered excitingly " and all the people who helped".

I started to mumble songs to myself as I gathered myself ready for the party tonight.  Tonight’s going to be a night to remember.. it'll be the start of the first move of the game. I reminded myself before gathering my things to get ready for the party. I want to play with them, test how far I can really push them and move each pawn to it’s right place in the end. I just know they will make the wrong move, especially with my knight at my side defending me. I’ll soon gather them all together and watch them unfold ever so slowly. My lips curled into a smile as the voice whispered, “ have fun”.

Oh believe me, I will just wait and see.

Ok.. I think to myself as I go through the list of things I have for the party.
Ok Mike’s bringing a keg of beer.. I've already got boxes full of carling, stella and foster and jasons bringing more vodka and fizzy drinks. . . Shit what am I forgetting.. ah yeah the music. Everyone's bringing beer so there should be more than enough.

"Hey man" I was interrupted in thought by Michael, Shane's brother.

"Hey, how's it going?" I ask. Embracing him in a hug/ handshake and pat him on the back.

"Good, good. You?" He replies.

"Yeah I’m good, you coming tonight?".

"Yeah.. I am. I've just got to go buy some drinks and I'll be on my way".

" Alright man that's cool with me, hey umm.. have you seen Jake? Or Jason? They were suppose to meet me an hour ago but they haven't arrived yet" I ask him curiously.

"Umm.. no I haven't seen them but I'll give you a call if I bump into them though if you want?" .

"Yeah no problem, thanks mate. Right I gotta go buy another keg, I'll see you tonight".

"Yeah see you later" he says before I turn away and walk to the local shop.

I hope tonight goes as I planned. I thought to myself.

" How do I look?" I ask Ava while giving her a twirl.

" absolutely gorgeous! " she declares and gives me a curtsy.

"Oh my! a queen! How about me?" She asks giving me a wink.

"Stunning" I say and wink back at her.

"Do you think it's too much?" She asks me looking down at her outfit.
