"The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life." - Richard Bach
You knew that Spencer was going because he told you he was. For you. He's going to the club for you. At the time, it seemed something a friend does for another friend, but now, you don't think it seems like a 'friend' move. Maybe it is on Spencer's side, but on your side, it's more. You want it to be more. You want him, all of him. You want to wake up next to him, and hear his laugh. His laugh is the best sound you've ever heard. You could listen to him rant all day, everyday. You love him. It's a scary word, but it's the right word. Him going to the club with you, for you, is one of the little things you love about him.
You started to get ready to go out. You tried to push Spencer to the back of your mind, but he was still there. He never leaves your thoughts, but that's not a bad thing. You put on a mid-length, black dress that hugs your curves in just the right spots. You paired it with a pair of black heels, not too long because you suspected the girls were going to make you dance a lot. To match, you put on a short gold necklace, gold studs, and a little gold bracelet. You put on a nude colored lipgloss and then touched up your mascara. Before you walked out of the door, you reached for your purse and gun. You thought for a moment and decided to leave your gun behind. This was a night off to hang out with your team. You took the elevator down and got in your car. You started driving when your phone rang, so you looked down to see Spencer's name across your screen. You quickly answered, maybe you answered too quick.
"Hey Spence, what's up?"
"Hey Y/n, I was just wondering if your still coming."
"Yeah of course. Are you already there?"
"Yeah I just got here five minutes ago."
"Okay. Give me five more minutes. I'll be there"
"Great. See you soon."
You smiled at his voice over the phone. With the way you look at him, someone on the team other than Penelope and Derek are gonna know how you feel soon enough. You just hope it's not Hotch.
When you got to the club, you walked in to see the team sitting at the large round table in the corner. The only seat left was one next to Spencer. You sat down with a small smile to everyone. When you looked at Penelope, you new just by the look on her face, that she purposely put the last seat next to Spencer. You shot her a quick glare that only see would see. Spencer looked over at you, and when you made eye contact, everyone at the table disappeared. You could look at him all night, but JJ began to speak to the team.
"Hey, Emily and I are going to get more shots. How many should we get?"
"Get one round for right now. Then I'll pay for the second one." Hotch spoke up.
"Got it boss." Emily said as she stood up.
The rest of the team continued talking while you were waiting for the girls to come back. After a while, JJ walked back to the table with shots four everyone. You looked back at the dance floor only to see Emily grinding on some guy. You knew that she would find someone fast. Before you looked away, Emily downed a shot of tequila. Everyone grabbed a shot and took it, even Spencer. Earlier, he told you that he would only be taking one shot. You didn't really want to get drunk tonight, so you were going to have one more shot for the night. Hotch called for a second round and he payed. You grabbed your shot and quickly took it. When you were recovering from your shot, Spencer put his hand on your thigh. It made you feel a certain way. A way you shouldn't be feeling with your boss across from you at a table. Spencer knew it too, he knew what you were feeling. You took Spencer's hand and got up.
