"Who speaks to the instincts speaks to the deepest in mankind and finds the readiest response." by Amos Bronson Alcott

It has been two weeks since Spencer had said the thing. It has been stuck in your head. Even if you try to force yourself to not thing about it, it's there.

You and Spencer practically live together at this point. He still has his apartment and you still have yours. Your apartment has been empty for a week so far. You don't know how long you're going to be staying with Spencer. He likes your company and you like his. It's nice not being alone anymore. It's nice living with someone you don't have to hide around because you're scared of being yelled at.

Living with your mom was like that. You can still remember your father sitting in his chair watching the tv and trying his best to ignore the fact that his wife is screaming bloody murder at their kid. You never brought it up to him. The fact he never stood up for you. You know he loves you , even if he never says it. "Tough love", is what mother always said.

Speaking of bloody murder, there's a new case at the BAU. Your phone rings suddenly which startles you awake. Spencer is still sound asleep next to you. You pick up the phone and before you get to say anything a voice way too happy for 8 AM begins to project through the phone.

"Hello my dear crime fighter we have a new case and you need to be here as soon as possible to we can start as soon as possible."

From the first words you already knew it was Penelope. Then the happy voice at 8 AM made sense.

"Hi Penn. Yeah, uhm ok. Spence and I will be there asap."

"Ooooo. You and lover boy still playing house?"

You had to tell someone. You knew it would come back to you.

"Penelope. We're not playing house. We just don't really want to be alone right now so it's just an... extended sleepover. Between two pals."

"Pals? We're pals?" You turn around to see Spencer woke up. He threw on a pretend sad face and then laughed. You put the phone on speaker.

"You're on speaker Penn."

"Hi Penelope." Spencer said this in his morning voice and it almost made you go crazy. If you didn't have to go to work, something else would very much be happening.

"Hello Spencer. You and your lover better be here in 30 minutes. We have a case."

"Ok Penn. We'll be there."

"Good. See ya!"

"See ya." You spoke into the phone one last time before hanging up and then got up to get dressed. It took the both of you about 10 minutes to get ready and then you headed down the stairs to the car park. Spencer got in front of you and opened your door for you to get in.

Spencer pulls into the parking lot of the BAU and turns the car off. He looks at you, kisses you and says, "I love you." Then he opens his door and gets out.

He's never stopped to do that before heading into work before. You start to think and you make the decision to not jump to conclusions until talking about it with the girls. You plan to ask the girls if they all want to go out after this case. It will be a good thing for all of us. We have all been so busy with work we barely have time to have fun.

You walk into the office and see the team talking. You and Spencer walk up to them. We all start to walk to the round table to discuss the case. Hotch begins to speak while Penelope is pulling the case up on the tv.

"There has been many disappearances that we have been asked to investigate. We need to find out who is doing this to put a stop to it."

"Where's Dave?" Spencer seems genuinely curious as he looked around the room.

"He's on the phone in his office. We think it may be about this case. He's coming now."

Dave walks into the office and looks around at all of us before sitting down. "I just got off the phone with a man who claims his sister has gone missing. He says that she has his tags. He gave them to her and she always has them with her. He insisted on coming so he'll be here soon to speak with you." Dave turned to look at Hotch with the last sentence.

"Alright. Let's go over what we already know. Garcia."

"Yes, sir." She begins to organize all of the details on the screen for the team to see.

"We currently have many missing persons attached to this case. Including our new victim, a prostitution named Kelly Shane. It has been less than 24 hours since she has been missing but since she's not the first, we now have jurisdiction."

"How many missing people are there?" Derek asks to anyone who could answer.

Hotch spoke. "There has been 89 killing that lead back to the same unsub. We just need to find him."

"89? Why are they just now asking for our help?" Derek asks, eyes wide.

"They thought they could handle it. Now that they know they can't, they don't want that number in the triple digits."

Emily began to speak after Hotch went quiet. "We need to prepare this guy that his sister may not be alive. He already has a new victim. Why need two? Up until now we have no reason to believe that he's ever kept two alive at the same time."

Hotch looked at her. "Your right. His sister may not be alive and we will need to warn him for all of the possible things we may find. His sister might not have anything to do with this case. We don't know yet. Which is why we need to start looking immediately." Hotch looks up to see the man Dave spoke with on the phone. Hotch and Dave step out of the room and walk to the front doors. The team watches through the blinds as a man approaches Hotch and Dave. They all look away and begin to work.

"You must be Mr. Hightower. Hotchner," he shakes his hand, "and this is Agent Rossi." Rossi shakes his hand as well.

"Please, call me William."

"Alright. If you would like we can all go to my office and we can talk about the details of your sisters case."

"Lead the way." The man replies.

"Right this way." Rossi holds the glass BAU doors open for the himself, Hotch, and William.

They walk to the office and close the door. Hotch and William begin to speak while Rossi closes the blinds.

After about 15 minutes the door to Hotch's office opens. Three of them walk out and make their way to the team. The door opens and Hotch is the first to speak.

"Everyone, this is William Hightower. This is the man we spoke about who's sister has gone missing and he is currently trying to look for her. He said the police have done nothing to help him. Which is why he came to us."

William looks around the room at the team. He smiles and nods his head.

A ping rings from Penelope's laptop. She checks to see what the noise was telling her. The police had notified the radar there is a car parked along the U.S. Canadian border.

"We need to look at that car. Our unsub crosses and if it's registered to him we can find out who our unsub actually is." You spoke after Penelope finished.

"All right. We leave in 10. Garcia your coming with us." Hotch spoke. After he finished, everyone went to get their bags. Spencer walks up behind you and ask where your bag is. You point to the ground under your desk. He gives you a quick kiss and grabs your bag.

He turns to look at you when he realized you weren't following him.

"You coming? We have about 2 minutes left to get on the jet."

"Yeah sorry." You follow behind him. You both walk on the jet and sit next to each other. He grabs your hand and you out your head in his shoulder. Before you knew it, you were asleep.
