An accident

Y/n's POV

Days, weeks, months of training has passed by quick. I've gotten even more stronger than before.. I even practiced how to fight with the weapon Raida got me. She said it was a scythe. It was really heavy but I got used to it after my fourth try.
I'm currently sitting near a forest. Watching the stream softly flow by.
"I wonder what I should have for dinner...mmm soup sound nice." Getting up, a kicked a small stone in the stream, picked up my scythe and headed home.

Sliding open the front door, I was met with silence. "Raida? Where are you?" I called out. Hearing footsteps, I looked and saw Raida with ordinary clothing. "Raida-" I greeted but looked at her arms. They were burned badly. "R-Raida...! What happened?!" Softly grasping her arms, she slightly hissed in pain. "Sorry.." I said. She gently smiled at me.
"It's no worries. During my mission, I got badly injured. But it'll get better without a few weeks." She said. I nodded and headed to my room.

{Later that night...}

I was in front of the house. I wanted to practice my ninjutsu- especially fire style without using too much chakra. 'Maybe a Fireball jutsu..to spice things up.' I thought and started to do my hand sign.

"Fire style: Fire Ball Jutsu!"  I looked up at the sky and fired a massive fireball into the air.
"Woah...!" I said in awe. It was huge!....but it's not going away..

It's getting bigger...

...

*BOOM!!*

It burst..!

My awe-filled expression quickly turned into a fearful one as the fireball that I created, bursted into tiny flames and landed on my home.

"RAIDA!!!" I screamed. Quickly running towards the house. I ran inside to look for her. "Raida!" A yelled again. The ceiling was starting to easily collapse since our house was really old.

"Y/n!" I hear a faint voice coming from in one of the rooms. I quickly followed it to see Raida looking around in a panic.

"Raida!" I yelled again, gaining her attention. "What happen?!" She asked. "I'm sorry! I-it was a mistake..! I didn't mean to!" I stuttered and began crying.
Raida quickly lifted me up and started running to the exit, dodging the falling debris and broken items. Despite the pain in her arms, she was desperately trying to get us out. My eyes were shut as I was too scared to look.

Raida's POV

As I carried Y/n, dodging everything in my path, I spotted my sister's room. Everything felt like it was in slow motion. I caught a glimpse of pictures of her, her husband and Y/n when she was younger. I felt a tear fall from one of my eyes. "Raya..." I mumbled. Turning my gaze away from the room, I jumped out the doorway. Seconds later, the entire house collapsed within the flames..

Everything was now gone...

...Forever.

No one's POV

There was nothing but silence. The only thing that was heard, was the cackling of wood and other objects breaking inside the fire.
Y/n opened her eyes and saw what was left of the house then looked at Raida. Her dark black hair covered her eyes and was shaking. Y/n didn't know whether it was from fear or Anger which made the young girl scoot away from the older female, afraid of what's going to happen now.

Raida soon got up. Ignoring her injury, she began to walk away. "Raida..?" The girl mumbled. Silently getting up, I re-arranged my Scythe and straps before following her.

They walked around for quite a long time before discovering an old home. Seemingly abandoned.

We walked in but kept our guard up just in case it was a trap. It was completely empty.
Guess we'll be staying here until further notice.

Raida had laid down in a corner while Y/n laid a few feet away from her.

'I'm so sorry Raida...it was an accident'

A/n: yeah, this story probably didn't make sense but here, let me explain.

Right now, Y/n is 8 years old. Her personality..is something. She's like Haku but mostly a robot except with sadness as her emotion. For this chapter, I was trying to kill Raida off because that's how you were gonna meet Madara but I thought otherwise.
I'll just kill her off next chapter :/
