2 Weeks Later..

Y/n just got back from doing a little shopping. Of course, it took a while but since you were somewhat a master at Ninjutsu, you were able to get the job done faster by jumping from branch to branch by using chakra.

Arriving to your...new home, you slid open the door to find it empty.

"Raida?" You called out. No response.

"In here...Y/n.." a voice called from the other room In between coughs.

A week ago, Raida started to cough uncontrollably. She was taken to nearby medic two days later and turns out that she was suffering from an incurable disease and the only thing they could do was push back the days further as much as they can.

You were heartbroken while Raida accepted it, already knowing about the Sickness as she has had it since she was a child. That's why she spent most of her life exploring sceneries and adventuring to nearby lakes and streams, rarely being with her family. But She was all You had left. So if she were to go...what would You do then?

"I brought tea and some of your medication..." You said.

"Thanks, Y/n." Raida smiled, causing Y/n to frown even more.

Raida looked weak. Her burned marks were still on her arms but had gotten better, her tired eyes, skinny figure and small smile.

'Seems like the sickness had gotten worse..' you thought and began to make tea.

Sometime later, the sun went down fully, showing the dark blue-ish gray colored sky that shined with starts that were scattered everywhere.

"Y/n.." Raida started.

"Yes?" Y/n answered.

"Let's head outside. The stars look nice tonight."

Your helped Raida outside. Both of you sat on the ground that was surrounded by small yet beautiful flowers and grass. You both gazed up at the sky in silence. Not awkward, but peaceful.

Raida's POV

I stared up at the sky. I believe my time has come as I fell my body begin to weaken and become cold.
"Y/n..." I started and turned to her.
"Yeah?" She asked. Her eyes staring from the sky to me.

"You know that you're the best niece ever? Even though you can be....quite a baby sometimes.." I said in between coughs.

Y/n pouted as I giggled in my head. "Hmph!"

"But promise me this...no matter what happens....always be happy, okay?" I said weakly. Y/n seemed to notice and began to panic.

"R-raida?! Are you okay?!" She asked. I slightly shook my head.

"..no. Its Time.. I will see my sister again.."

Y/n began to cry as I fall on my back. The energy being drained from my body.

"Y/n...even though our time together was short...I really enjoyed spending time with you.. also..promise that you'll never forget me..." I say.

"I p-promise..."

"Good...goodbye y/n...be a good girl for me, okay? I'll be watching..."

I take one last look of her. I hear her call out my name but then they become echoes. My vision of her becomes blurry as I slowly close my eyes, forming a smile on my face as I finally accept my fate and took my last breath.

'Goodbye, Y/n. Until next time...'

Y/n POV

"RAIDA! Wake up! Wake up PLEASE!" I cried as I shook her.
Why isn't she getting up!? Please be a prank..!
Her body felt cold. I checked her pulse, heart and her breathing...nothing..
