It'd been about an hour, surprisingly Lizzie and I were still fully dressed.

"What you doing" I ask, charmingly, seeing the blonde writing on my desk, while i sat scrolling on my phone on my bed.

"Oh nothing, I just write sometimes to express ways i feel because its so hard for me to do otherwise" Lizzie explains, going back to writing.

"Oh nice what are you writing about Saltzman" I pester.

"Nothing to do with you Mikaelson, sit your ass back down" The blonde laughs.

"Who knew that Lizzie Saltzman has a brain" I laugh.

"Oh be quiet i have one but its messed up" Lizzie jokes.

"Don't say that, its not messed up, you're just wired a little different thats all which is completely normal... If it makes you feel any better, i love that about you" I reassure the girl, standing up and wrapping my arms around the seated girls shoulders.

"No it pisses me off, I just don't know what can set me off at times and that annoys the fuck out of me, i go from being fine to almost killing my sister" Lizzie bows her head.

"Well instead of looking for the triggers, why not look for solutions? What tends to calm you down Saltzman?" I ask.

"I mean... it sounds really cheesy but you do, its really weird i know but whenever i'm with you i feel normal and forget about everything... I mean i also used to paint but i just didn't have time anymore plus i somehow lost my eisel" Lizzie explains.

"Thats kind of cute... I mean, i used to paint... i've got an eisel in here somewhere if you'd want to try that... i'm a little rusty but i'm sure i'll give you a run for your money" I joke.

"I'd really like that Hope, Let me just finish writing this and i'll show you up" Lizzie giggles, wrapping her arm around mine.

I let go, of her to try attempt to find an eisel Josie gave me when i first moved in, until i see it in the corner of my closet.

"Yessss found it" I say, dragging it out and setting it up.

"Thats a nice eise- WAIT HOPE THATS MINE" Lizzie runs up towards the stand, and i.

"Did Josie give this to you?" Lizzie sounds enraged.

"Yeah why" I emphasise.

"Look at this" Lizzie points to a small corner of the Eisel, showing a small engraving of the letters 'LS'... Lizzie Saltzman.

"Jesus she's a theif" I giggle.

"Oh well, i found it now... It even matches the initials on your necklace, what a coincidence" The blonde turns to face the now found eisel.

"Oh yeah a super hot girl got me this necklace" I say sarcastically.

"Oh really now? It looks good on you, I bet the 'super hot girl' thinks so too" Lizzie joins in.

I liked this... don't get me wrong we have really good sex.. but thats not what i want all the time, i want a person that i can talk to.

"Here, i have some spare paints... paint for me Saltzman" I say as i drag an old stool out for her to sit on... with a colourful erray of paints and a blank canvas.

"I'm probably going to be so terrible so don't judge" Lizzie warns before taking a brush, wetting it and dipping it in some paint.

She had such a steady hand... so much concentration.

I stood there watching the girl paint so carelessly, which was totally unlike Lizzie's nature.

I slipped behind her, taking a seat on the back of the stool as Lizzie moved forward creating more room as i wrap my arms around her waist and sit in awe as i watch her paint.

Hooking my head in the corner of her neck, seeing her smile ear to ear.

"You paint so carelessly" I compliment.

"part of the reason i love it, i have every ounce of control" Lizzie describes.

"I like us like this you know, i get the sex is great and all... but i really do like spending time with you Saltzman" I let out, seeing her turn her head to look at me, brush still in hand.

"No-ones ever said they'd prefer my company over sex before" Lizzie smirks inches from my face.

"Your problem is you don't let anyone in" I say, her nodding in agreement.

"Yeah i know, its not easy for me to open up... but for you it was just natural" The smiles, resting her brush down on the stand and placing her arms on mine.

"Wow am i just that special" I joke.

"Yeah... yeah you are Mikaelson" Lizzie says genuinly in a soft voice.

The room goes silent yet not awkward as we just look at eachother...

"Hey Hope can i ask you a question" Lizzie breaks the silence.

"Go ahead" I reply.

"If it was between Josie and i right here... right now. If you had to choose... who would it be?" Lizzie asks.

"You really can't read me can you?" I giggle.

"No, i just want to know... asking for a friend of course" Lizzie says sternly.

"Who am i spending my day with right now?" I answer.

"Me.. bu-" Lizzie goes to speak before i cut her off.

"Well theres your answer" I whisper into the girls ear.

I can almost feel the rush Lizzie got when i said this.

"You're not just saying that are you" Lizzie says softly.

"Lizzie don't get me wrong.... Josie is awesome and i totally get why someone would date the girl... but i don't smile ear to ear when i read her messages, i don't instantly feel happy when she walks into the room... and when i see her smile it doesn't spark the same feelings as you do Saltzman" I open up.

I felt so stupid say all this shit, but honestly it was the truth.

"Who knew, you're a hopeless romantic" Lizzie blushes.

"Oh shush... also, i forgot to mention, you owe me a date" I pester.

"Wait when... i thought we were even" Lizzie replies.

"Uhh when you gave me the necklace 'for the date'... am i wrong" I laugh.

"It wouldn't be a total burden for me to take you out... I mean i'm free all night" Lizzie whispers.

"Okay yeah... 100% i'd be down, where we going" I ask.

"Its a suprise" Lizzie says.

"aslong as i don't end up dead..." I joke.
