I told Charlie I'd have to tell everyone at the same time what was going on and he didn't push it anymore. I think he was happy just to hold me for the time being. His hair had gotten longer, almost as long as Bill's. I ran my hand through it before someone coughed breaking apart our moment.
I spin around to see Hermione with Draco, stunning me. I didn't think it was the smartest move she could make, but this whole group wasn't really one to talk. We were all walking into something blindly, the majority of us with just that. Blind faith. Faith in Harry. Faith in ourselves. Faith or love? I wasn't sure, but I knew we had more of a fighting chance if we were all honest with each other.
"I know, before you say anything." Draco began.
"I invited him." hermione explained.
I shrugged and watched the interaction between Draco and Snape as he walked in. Snape roughly grabbed the boys shoulders and pushed him against the wall. Charlie pushed me behind him in case the two were to fight. Snape said something roughly in his ear making the boy gulp and nod.
Slowly after that more people trickled in. Sirius came last and embraced me into a hug that I'm sure I'd be returning shortly.
"I need to talk to you after.. if you could stay." I looked at him, pleading more with my eyes than the words could.
He noded looking at me with a look of confusion.
"Well, what's going on? Why's he here?" Bill asks pointing at Charlie when everyone thought he'd meant Draco.
Charlie chuckles and pulls his brother in for a hug. "Came to see my love."
I shake my head at the two and Hermione clears her throat commanding all of the attention towards her.
"I guess Ican start by telling everyone that Siaph and I discovered one method of destroying the Horcruxes." she announces to the group. "It's basilisk venom."
"What is the Horcrux?" Draco whispers.
"I'll explain later, boy. Has Dumbeldore said anything else to the two of you?" Snape's full-toned voice filled the room.
"Just to keep searching for methods to destroy them." I answer him and he nods.
"Well, Snape, considering Draco's YOUR godson, you can choose either to obliviate him or trust him." Sirius says eyeing his cousin.
Draco laces his fingers wtih Hermione's and looks to her. She gives him a gentle smile earning a small gasp from Sirius. Remus pats him on the shoulder and shakes his head with a smile of his own.
"Things are becoming unsettled. The dark lord is trying to invade Harry's dreams about the prophecy." Snape tells us.
"I think we need to focus on more ways to save Harry." Hermione adds.
"Can the two of you search for more information on the Horcruxes?" Remus asks.
"Sure, but why?" I ask Remus not understanding where the conversation was leading.
"I think in order to begin to search for ways to save Harry, we need to understand more about the Horcruxes." Remus states, "you two or three might be the best way to do that."
I understood what he'd meant. Due to us already having access it would look suspicious if anyone else were to begin searching.
"I'm going to assume Dumbeldore is painfully aware of your.. relationship, Granger. I don't think he'll see much if Malfoy is with you. Be subtle." Snape warns.
"We will." Hermione assures him, meeting his gaze.
"Siaph, you might want to sit down for this." Sirus tells me. I feel Charlie squeeze my hand as I sit down next to him on the floor and see Sirius and Snape exchange a glance.
"What is it?" I question.
"There's been an escape from Azkaban. Fudge hasn't put it in the papers to make it seem like he has a handle on the whole Voldemort situation." Sirius explains and some shudder.
"Why would Ineed to sit for that?" I ask tiliting my head to the side.
"Among others.. Bellatrix Lestrange has escaped." Sirius says.
"Aunt Bella? What does she have to do with this?" Draco asks concerned. Hermione squeezes his hand and shakes her head. He withdrawls and watches us.
I just blink. I don't know what really to say. Letting out a sigh I ask, "Who else?"
"Dolohov, Lestrange, Rookwood, Travers, and Mulicber. There may be others but these are the 'high' profile Death Eaters, so to say." Snape tells me.
I sigh and roll my eyes. Of course when we get one step forward, it's ten steps back.
"We'll keep you safe, Siaph." Charlie tells me.
"We'll all keep each other safe." I say back to him with a smile. I felt a new fire burning within me. I would get my revenge, one way or another. Bellatrix Lestrange would die one way or another for all of her wrong doings. It wasn't just about me anymore. I'd learned about Neville's parents and the hate I had for her grew.
"I think we should go now. Draco you come with me." Snape says grabbing the boy by the collar and leading him out.
Hermione looks as he leaves and tells Remus they should take the tunnel back to the castle. Agreeing they tell us good bye and leave shortly after.
"Bill, grab a drink?" Charlie asks.
Bill nods and Charlie tells me to find him after I have my talk with Sirius. I'm grateful he allowed me the time I needed to speak with him even though he'd come all of this way to see me.
"What's going on Siaph?" Sirius asks now taking the spot where Charlie sat prior.
"Glad you sat down." I say reaching for the journals.
