Moving Harry

I was about to be moved from the Burrow to Grimmauld Place when a Patronus appeared.

"Dumbeldore is dead. Send whomever you have available." Kingsley voice rang into the living room.

Not giving it a second thought and ignoring Molly's pleas, I rushed into the Floo network. I grasped my wand, ready to fight for what I had to.

Stumbling into the Headmaster's office, I find a note on Dumbeldore's desk.

You don't realize how important your exsistance is. They will try to come for you. Stay hidden, please. this is my dying wish for you. Your grandfather willing gave his life to save your mothers. Go to Gryffindor. Stay there, the portrait will let you in without the password.

Albus

I look at Fawkes who seems to be trying to escape. I gently walk past him and open the window. He sqwaks and soars in the open sky. Shortly after his release, I see the dark mark emerge in the sky. I rush down the steps and find death eaters fighting with the aurors in the halls. Colors of green and red flashing everywhere. If it weren't war, I'd think it was Christmas.

I run past the battling and make it to the Gryffindor tower and find the Fat Lady ready to let me into the common room. I dash in and find mostly everyone, waiting.

"What's going on?"Seamus asks.

"I don't know. Nobody leaves. Where's Harry?" I ask them desperately .

"Dunno, he was gone when everyone looked for him."I hear Ron's voice.

The crowd clears and I run up to him throwing my arms around him.

"You stupid, stupid fools." I cry out. I didn't realize I'd been crying as Hermione comes next to me. She joins our hug.

"I got a note to come here. Kingsley sent the patronus, just before Iwas leaving." I tell them.

"Harry's still out there." Hermione tells me. She's hiding it but I can see her trembling. I was expecting it to be along night, but no sooner did Ithink it before McGonagall entered the common room. Her eyes gazed over the crowd. Her eyes brushed over me, I see her let out a sigh of relief.

"Everyone, file in a single file. Prefects, take spread out evenly. We will be going to the Great Hall." McGonagall instructed.

I filed in with the students and followed McGonagall to the Great Hall. I find it quickly filled with students, whispers of what had happened. I see the Aurors in the front and find myself breathing a little bit easier once I see Tonks, Kingsley, and Sirius. I'd wondered where Remus was, but quickly got distracted.

Charlie quickly made his way through the crowd and embraced me. I felt tears froming in my eyes and breath out heavily.

"Love, I'm so happy you're safe. Mum said you were about to go to Spinners End. Luckily you came here." he says not letting me go.

"Yes, well fat lot of good that did. I wasn't allowed to help." I cross my arms over my chest.

Suddenly around us everyone seemed to be heading to the courtyard. I hear gasps and students crying and I look at Charlie. He shrugs and I drag him to follow the masses. In the sky the Death Eater mark was there.

Silence overtook the student body as the first student raised thier wand. More and more, the wands were raised. I raise my own and laugh at the irony. It was a beautiful sight, all for a man who'd known he was going to pass. The courtyard matched the stars in the sky that night, reminding us to always have hope.
