Mystique Mansion, Lexington
Under the moonlight, the manor stood under the wraps of death, delusion and tragedy.
One can easily smell the stench of blood everywhere. The smell of death. Death won over life.
Someone was burying her and sealing this innocent woman forever. Nobody could ever tell that Evelyn Molly Luxembourg ever lived. The evidence of her existence will be wiped off from the Luxembourg's family tree.
The bright red bricks were arranged slowly, one by one, in order covering her fully. The girl who laid behind the red bricks had never expected to die so young. No, never so young. As young as twenty one.
She slept there behind those bricks, lifeless and clueless, what exactly had led her to face this untimely death. She had no knowledge, what led her to this unfortunate fate. She slept there motionless, and the servant was burying her behind the magnificent walls of Mystique Manor.
"The moment your master arrives; I shall be informed" a cold voice ordered in a low but daunting tone to the man servant, who was terribly shaken at the sight of the dead girl before him.
"Anybody inquiries about your presence in the manor today, ensure that you were not there, and you returned from the main street before the dinner." The voice continued "Remember, you have not witnessed anything, and neither have spotted me."
"Any mistake found, will lead you to the similar severe punishment which she chose to face." The murderer looked at the girl's direction and assessed. Young, beautiful and innocent, but... she was dead. A satisfactory grin, thin as a needle appeared on the murderer's lips for few seconds and magically vanished. Looking back at the manservant, "Did you clearly understand my words?" the voice hissed.
He nodded. Without any further conversation, the lethal slayer left.
The man sank on the floor and cried bitterly...
Evelyn Luxemburg had been cruelly deceived and brutally killed. And the people of the lower floor were too weak to raise an alarm.
..................
It was almost the dawn, when the master stepped in the manor, when he didn't see her in their bedroom. He began his search. He frantically searched for his precious, beloved wife.
Not finding her in their dormitory, he searched for her in the main parlor, then searched the nursery and the music room and the gardens. He called her, but she didn't respond. Where was his lady, the lady of the manor?
The house remained silent. Even the staff had no knowledge of what had happened and where did their mistress go missing. And even if they had the faintest hint, they did not wish to respond to his worried questions.
He asked them and they had no response.
"Get a grip, Richard. " His friend and his wife's twin sister, placed a thin hand on his shoulders and spoke to him.
"She must be gone nearby. Don't you worry, she will make it before the night fall." she said in a worried tone.
He turned towards the speaker, and said, "Olivia, my wife is missing. We didn't find her anywhere. She never leaves anywhere without informing anyone. I have informed the local sheriff, they are searching for her since seven hours and still gathered no impression on what might have occurred." He paused, looking at the great clock, "Seven hours! Seven hours and no sign of hers. I fear if she is caught in a trouble. I fear if I could find her soon. My Eve is nowhere."
