She was on her way home, she felt it again. She felt someone was following her. She felt someone was watching her. She was at the parking lot of Fusion Heights. She saw no one. Andrea had just left ten minutes ago and all the other staff members already had left. Due to the stringent timelines of her project, Kayla had decided to stay back. It was long day already for her - work wise and also after her small but intensive tryst with Ryan. She sighed. She walked towards her Elegance which was parked in the usual slot.

She felt a shuffle behind her, she whirled around, but couldn't see anything. Nothing at all.

She immediately slid in the seat of her car. That's when she heard a loud thud on the roof of the car. She screamed, the keys of the car slipped through her fingers, She heard another thud in the window but couldn't see anything just a black blur in front of her. She finally got hold of the key and tried to start the car, but couldn't start it. She heard a low growl - an animalistic growl from the shadows. She saw something moving, but she was petrified to even ask for help. Her hands were trembling and she was about to scream - that's when she saw it's eyes - it was glowing in the dark - it was glowing yellow. It slowly moved towards her car and was just two feet away from the car. It was a huge animal with thick fur coat. She saw it clearly now. The skin was in dark - blackish colour - It's eyes were menacingly glowing at her - they were yellowish...It was now less than a feet away. It jumped on the windshield and broke the glass with it's deadly claws. She saw it's mouth and fangs salivating and smelling her closely. She closed her eyes and yelled for help

"HELP!!!" she screamed in top of her lungs.

She saw it's eyes focused on her. It was not that yellow anymore...it was now soft..golden... focusing on her face as though it is piercing on her soul and focused on breathing. Her body was paralysed under the weight of the beast. She closed her eyes tightly and felt the beast sniffing her and suddenly she felt the weight lifting off her chest. She felt the courage to open her eyes and finally found herself alone.

It had left her alone and she was breathing. She survived of a potential attack.

......................

It was 1 am and it was cold. The NYPD was scattered in the parking lot looking for the animal which was at large. After the incident, Kayla had managed to find her mobile phone and called her father. Her father immediately arrived at the scene and Ryan's car pulled up after five minutes.

Kayla was still shivering. She didn't know whether she was shivering due to the cold or was trembling like a leaf out of pure fear. What she saw today - it wasn't one of her visions. It was real. She saw a beast and got literally mauled by it. She was thanking her rarely lucky stars that she got out of it unscathed.

She was so scared to even speak that she didn't even realise when the NYPD pulled up after her father called the 911. She was just sitting on the stilt of the parking lot - she didn't even realise when someone wrapped a blanket on her. She did not even realise when the paramedics were checking her vitals. She did not even realise that someone had a laid a cup of coffee in her hand.

"I think you should have that Sunshine" her father said

She then came out of her trance and muttered a feeble "Thanks"

"Are you Ok now?" her daddy asked her

"I am fine Dad. I told you. It did not touch me. I am fine physically. I am just trying to process what had happened. This was a first." she chuckled.

"That's not something I personally would like to undergo something like that" he chuckled too "But nor should you." He hugged her and kissed the top of her head. "You don't know you took away a couple of years from me when you made that call. I am relieved now. Seeing you sitting in front of me."
