chapter 27

I went to go and see Sam at the hospital in the afternoon and everything was fine with him.He’s doing much better and might even get to leave in a couple of days.It was about to be 7:30 in the afternoon and I headed home.

There was no one there since the guys went to go and rehearse for their tour.

I talked to Luke about leaving Amanda and the baby here and he said he wouldn’t leave for a long time.That we would be back before we know it,sadly.

Both Gina and Anthony went with them so im here alone.They won’t be back until 8:30 or so.

I grab my phone from the side table besides my bed and I scroll through twitter sitting on my bed comfortably.

I suddenly look up and Amanda is there.She had her hand behind her back.

“What are you doing here?”I ask surprised she was there the whole time.

“You just don’t get it”She sais calmly.

“Amanda what-”

“You have no idea of how much I love Luke and would do anything for him.Were expecting a baby and he cheats on me with you”She sais cutting me off.

She then brings her hand out infront of her letting me see what she had in her hand.

“Amanda don’t do this.If you love Luke don’t do anything stupid.It’ll hurt him.”I tell her.

“You wanted this to happen.You should be happy Jessi?I’m getting rid of us so you and Luke can be happy”She sais placing the knife on her wrist.

“Think about your baby”I panick.

“Think about yourself.Everyhting you have to look forward to.Your mom”

“I’ll leave ok.i’ll leave and Luke can be yours.He’s already yours so you don’t have to do this.Please”I say standing up getting closer to her.

“No!You don’t.This is all your fault”She sais taking steps back.

“Amanda please don’t-”

But before I could finish my sentence she slides the knife across her wrist making me gasp.Blood poured down her hand.She then collapsed to the ground.

I instantly panicked and kneeled down to her where she was laying on the floor.

I grabbed my phone and dialed 911.

“Oh my god Amanda.They’ll be here soon.Just hold on”I tell her as if she could hear me at this moment.

moments later the ambulance came and they picked her up and placed her down on a mobile bed.They attached her to one of those breathing machines.They asked me If i was a relative or something but I said I was a friend.

I explained what exactly happened to the nurse in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

I called Luke and he was already making his way to the hospital.He sounded worried.Ofcourse he did?How could he not be?

We arrived at the hospital really fast.They imidietly took her in without asking questions.

I was worried.I was crying.Crying because I felt guilty.I was shaking really bad still shocked from what had happened.If anything happens to her or the baby,it’s all because of me..

“Jessi?What happened?”Luke said rushing over to me.

“I don’t know I was sitting in my room and I looked up randomly and Amanda was there.She had a knife in her hand but I didn’t know until she put it infront of her.I tried to stop her and get close but she moved back.I tried Luke,I tried”I say crying through my words.

“It’s ok.You did what you could.You probably even saved her and the babys life calling the ambulance.”He sais hugging me.

I wanted to scream at him.To stop saying that I saved her life because I didn’t.I’m the only reason why shes in here laying in that hospital bed unconcious.I’m the one doing this to her.What if something happens to her or the baby?I don’t think I could live with myself if something happened to her or the baby.If she got hurt..but she already did..

Both Luke and I sat in the waiting room quietly.We watched as everyone passed by walking the halls.

We stared at all the doctors walking the halls.We were hoping that the doctor would tell us if Amanda was ok.

“Luke?What happened?Wheres Amanda?”A women sais walking into the room.

But before he could answer her we see a doctor making his way to the waiting room.

“For Amanda?”The doctor sais.

Luke,The woman,and I emidietly surrounded him.

“How is she?Im her mother”The woman tells him.

“Your daughter is totally fine.Both she and the baby are ok.”He sais easing the tension.

“Your daughter is very very lucky.The cut on her wrist was really deep and was inches away from cutting her vain.but fortunetly it did not.”

“Can we see her?”The woman sais smiling.

We all smiled in relief.

“Yes.You can come with me please”He sais starting to walk down the hall.

We follow him into the room.Amanda was laying down.I couldn’t go inside due to the fact that I knew she didn’t want to see me.

I stayed outside watching through the window.

Her mom said something and then she slowly woke up and slowly opened her eyes.

Luke was on the other side of the bed.

Her mom then hugs her and Amanda smiles back at her.Luke hugs her as well.

He turns around to look at me and gives me a happy smile.He looked back at Amanda and smiles at her.I watched as She grabs his hand and places it on her stomach makning him smile widely.

Thats when it hit me...
