Chapter 23

"Impressive"

It was either a compliment to the person in front of him or to him, himself. He knew he couldn't have guessed wrong about someone and it all proved out to be right. It was the day, when Jungkook's training was supposed to come to an end. Since the moment sun rose, Jungkook had been taking rounds from the torture room to the shooting range, showing off his fighting skills ending up in an interrogation room all along with RM tagging beside him. The first few rounds had to be some piece of cake for him but the last part he was sure he broke out a sweat.

The older was too smart and at one point it got annoying. People are not supposed to be this smart. That's not normal nor humane, still he had to remind himself his leader was all a human. He played mind games, twist and messed Gguk up with his words. Jungkook knew as long as he survived he passed and so he did to receive a compliment.... Impressive.

"Your first task." The leader said as the two broke out of the mind games and he reached over to pick up a file which kept details of the mission.

RM : " You are assisting V." Opening the file, putting it infront of Jungkook he pointed at the first page and there was a huge symbol over it. "That is Sewong's clan. V is on this case. All the details are mentioned in there. Not all I may mention, a few you need to figure out yourself."

Jungkook :" V? Off all the people." He wasn't supposed to question. Not when he just passed and was given his first task. Yet the fear was something he was losing an account off as if it never happened to be within him. However, a person can never escape it. We've always got a thing or a person in our lives to fear from or fear for.

RM :"Yes V. We fight against the world not against each other. I don't like such mess going around in Hades, setting an example for the others."

Jungkook :"He wouldn't accept it, you know that." RM took a moment or two before calling someone to bring V in and with in another two minutes the later was present in front of them. As soon as the man entered in, his eyes landed on Jungkook's once and the sight was enough to rage him.

V :" You called me."

RM : "Jungkook is assisting you on Sewong's case"

V : "No..... Not him, I am never going to accept him." He stood as firm as he could just like Jungkook guessed it. Not like he was hurt by any of the words. He couldn't care less about the hate he was receiving. None of it mattered to him.

RM :" He is assisting you on a business matter. It's better if you two keep your personal grudges against each other all to yourself. I don't admire such descipline and you." He looked at V not missing how upset he was over the decision. "Jimin got a reason to behave such way. Leave him out. He will return himself when he is alright."

V :"So, you know about it and you are not telling anyone."

RM :" I am not obliged to answer anyone. Take this case and protect your ownself first."and that's how the two ended up in a same room. While one Man was sitting there shuffling through the file pages and a cup of coffee resting by his side untouched but still hot, the led screen turned on with all the details on it but it just sat there quietly. The other one well, they say if you put two opposite forces in one room it could be hell of a mistake but who cares specifically in this world where things just needs to go. V glanced at Jungkook who was quietly busy in solving the rubrics cube and it was ticking him off not on why the lad wasn't working but because he wasn't someone to support their duo that much.

"Mind going to kindergarten if you're that much interested in kid stuff?" V said with extremely done expressions .

Jungkook: "Yeah Alright , you can Keep up with your adult stuff" He said with those unbothered expressions still solving the rubrics cube and damn how much V wanted to spill the whole cup of hot coffee on him.
