Chapter Four

"Ddeonu? Wait what?" Jay swung his legs back and forth under the rattly wooden bench, the gaze of the Sun basking his feature in a thin sheet of golden light. Squinting, "Say it again," He mumbled as he placed his cupped hand over his forehead.

Sunoo rolled his eyes, sipping on his juice box vigorously before removing his lips from the paper straw, "Were you even listening?" He slightly shook his fringe out of his face, "Rude. Anyway, a bunny finally ate my food, and then I named it Ddeonu! He was soo cute but then some guy named Sunghoon who was a little tiny bit cool and named 'his' bunny Winter or something. I gave him his doctor's note, which he was weirdly obsessed with, just to see Ddeonu but he wasn't with him."

Nodding slowly, "Ohhh, now I get it," Jay chuckled warmly. He glanced wearily across the sun-lit concrete dotted with students with a pathetic sigh, "So, what does this 'little, tiny bit cool Sunghoon' look like?" Sunoo sneered up at the comment, jugging harder on his straw until the tip was damp.

"You care more about Sunghoon than my cute little Ddeonu?" He titled his head to the side with a growing pout now replacing his snarly look. Jay rolled his eyes with a warm sigh and tousled his floppy blonde hair.

"You've been talking about Ddeonu for the entire lunch," Jay pointed out which just made the younger shrug, "Don't you think I would be the least bit curious about who his owner was?" The inquiry just made Sunoo continuously grumble under his breath, yet he compiled.

"First, Sunghoon and I are the owners. And second, he's quite boring actually." Sunoo pondered before continuing, "His name is Sunghoon, and he has some secret diarrhoea issues – that's about it." He nodded with a satisfied smile, Jay pulling back with disgust at his response.

"Um... okay." The blonde-haired male cleared his throat in a weak attempt to cover up his lack of response, "Anything else? You say he was cool – did he look nice?" Lifting his eyebrows teasingly, the younger shoved Jay by the shoulder meekly as he shook his head only to pause.

"No. He looked nice but not in that way," Sunoo exasperated with a short head shake.

"Says the one who just exposed Ddeonu's co-owners little secret," Jay retorted quickly with a small humph, "Hey – why isn't Jungwon back yet?" Scanning the premises quickly, Jay's eyes widened when he couldn't seem to find his boyfriend who was supposedly printing off his homework in the library.

The black-haired male began searching along with Jay, "Wait- isn't that Jungwon?" Pointing his index finger at Jungwon who held a small stack of work in his arms, walking with a playful smile on his face. He squinted his eyes to focus on the boy who Jungwon was talking to, only to realize it was Jake, "Jake?" Sunoo muttered.

"Jungwon!" Jay piped up, slightly standing up to see his boyfriend closer only for his sun-blocked vision to land on Jake. He brushed his hair aside to see through his obscured vision, "What is he doing with Jake?" He watched the two giggle at each other which made his blood boil.

Sunoo attempted not to burst out laughing at the scene, "M-maybe he's just helped him with printing his homework?" Jay just sighed and plopped back onto the bench; a dull expression plastered on his face.

"Oh, hi Jay – hi Sunoo," Jungwon greeted before taking a seat beside Jay. He placed a bag on the remaining bench space as he brushed off the inconspicuous specks of dust on his uniform, "Jake gave me some cookies – you want some?" Jungwon picked up a cookie and handed it to Jay who was still registering his question.
