Chapter Five

Maia walked into the potions classroom as Severus looked to her. She sighed. "I've thought about it. And I'll do it. I'll drink the potion and trick the dark lord if you're sure that he'll believe it," she said.

Severus stood from his desk and walked over to where she was. "Its fool proof. He won't know. You don't need to worry as it will all be okay," Severus said as he handed Maia potion.

Maia looked to it for a moment and sighed as she downed the potion. She looked at him. Maia hated how she had been pulled into this world because of her father. And she hated how she had to make it seem like she had slept with her professor. When she knew that wasn't who she was.

Severus sighed. "I know that you are worried. But you don't need to be. No one will know the truth. Unless you open your mouth," Severus said.

Maia rolled her eyes as she looked at him. "I'm not an idiot. I don't even want to talk about this situation. Let alone tell anyone. You don't need to worry about it," Maia said as she walked out of the classroom.

Maia felt her stomach turn. She didn't know if it was the whole situation. Or if it was the potion she had drank. But she knew that she had to do whatever she could to protect herself.

Maia walked into the common room and looked to see Grace as she was sitting on the sofa. She frowned as she looked at her. "You look like you have sex hair," Maia said.

Grace rolled her eyes as she looked at her. "Chance would be a fine thing. I'm fine. I'm just tired. That's all," Grace said.

Maia looked at her and rolled her eyes. "You know that you're a terrible liar. I know that there is something going on with you and my brother. And you do have sex hair. Off of him," Maia said.

Grace sighed and nodded. She looked at her. "If you know, how long will it be until everyone else does? We can't be public and have a relationship and you know that. The dark lord will kill me and then him. He's a Malfoy and I know that the dark lord wants him to join. And he doesn't want that," Grace said.

Maia smiled as she looked at her. "It's a mess," she said.

Grace nodded and sighed. "You think?"

"I know. But you and Draco love each other. And as long as you can try and keep it hidden, it will be okay," Maia said as Grace looked to her and smiled.

Maia knew that they were all going through so much at that moment.

Maia walked into the great hall. She frowned as she locked eyes with Severus. She felt something. She felt her heart skip a beat which confused her.

She knew that she had felt odd since the potion and it worried her. That he could have given her a love potion to trick her into it.

But had he really tricked her or could Maia actually be starting to develop feelings for Severus Snape?
