Maia knew how her head was a mess and she didn't know what to think. She knew how Severus had suspicions that Narcissa wasn't actually dead. And how she had faked her death.

Maia knew it didn't make sense. She knew that the only reason that she'd do that would be to protect her children.

Maia knew that she had to find her mum. And she had to find out what was going on.

Maia got dressed and walked down into the common room. She frowned as she saw Snape. She looked to him. "What are you doing here?" Maia asked.

Severus looked to her and rolled his eyes. "I am your head of house Miss Malfoy. I can come in here if I want. And I need to talk to you," he said.

"I'm listening."

"I know that you think that you can find your mother. And it will fix it all. But as far as your father is aware, it's better that she stays dead," he said.

Maia looked to him and frowned. "Are you saying that this is to do with him?" She asked. She knew the type of man her father was and she knew that she didn't want to believe it.

"I can't say. I promised your mother that I'd keep you and your brother safe. And that's what I am going to do," he said as Maia looked to him and frowned.

She didn't know what to think. But she didn't know if she trusted him.

Maia stood in Hogsmeade with Grace who looked to her as if she was crazy. "Are you sure about this? Do you even know where you'll start to look?" Grace asked.

"I have an idea. Look I know it's a lot. But I need your help. You're smart and sneaker. And everyone is on about Hermione Granger. But they don't see you as a muggle born. They don't see how powerful you are. I need you to help me find my mum. And I need answers. And if you won't so it for me, do it for Draco," Maia said.

Grace looked to her and smiled. "Of course I will help you. Have you thought of your aunt? The one that she disowned they use to write letters didn't they?" Grace asked.

Maia looked to her and nodded. "Yeah they did. There's a good thought," she said.

She knew how she just wanted to find her mother and get answers.

Maia got to France. Grace had managed to sneak her out of Hogwarts and the country undetected. And she was grateful for her best friend because of it.

But she knew she only had so long until people would know that she was gone.

Maia knocked on the door. She looked as the door open. "Hello auntie Andy. Hello mother," she said as she saw Narcissa as she stood down the hall.

"Maia," Narcissa said as she looked to her daughter.

"You look good for a dead witch," Maia said.

"I can explain."

"I sure hope so," Maia said.

But could Narcissa explain her way out of this situation?
