Chapter Four

Maia sat in the common room and sighed. Maia couldn't stop think about what Severus had said. And how he wanted to trick the dark lord into thinking that they had sex.

Maia didn't know if she could trust him. But she knew one thing. And she knew that there was no way she was going to sleep with Severus Snape. She didn't care what he did. But she knew that she didn't want to be involved in the dark lords plan.

Maia sat in the common room as Grace walked in. She frowned as she looked to Maia. "Are you okay? You look terrible," Grace asked.

Maia looked to her and smiled. She sighed. "I'm okay. My head is a mess. I'm sorry. What's going on with you and my brother? You're looking very secretive and cosy. Please tell me nothing is going on with you?" She asked.

She knew she had a lot to worry about. And she knew that the last thing she wanted was to worry about was her brother and her best friend's possible romance.

She knew Grace was her best friend. But she was a muggleborn. She knew the risk of it all. And she could only hope that Draco wasn't putting Grace in danger.

Maia walked into the great hall as she saw Severus. He walked over to her and grabbed her arm. "Get the hell off of me. I meant it when I said I didn't want you touching me," she spat.

Severus rolled his eyes. "I have a found a way to trick the dark lord. We drink this potion and when the dark lord looks into our minds, he will think that we have slept together. What do you think?" He asked.

Maia looked at him and sighed. "Are you sure? Will it work?" She asked.

Severus looked to her and smirked slightly. "Remember. I am the double agent. And if anyone can trick the dark lord then it is me. And I'm not going to let him hurt you. I said I will protect you. I promised your mother and I will okay? The dark lord won't hurt you," Severus said.

Maia smiled slightly and looked to him. She didn't trust him completely. But part of her wanted to trust him. He was a double agent. And she didn't want to be caught up in it all.

And she didn't want him to cross her because of it.

Maia walked into the common room. She frowned as she saw Draco. "Are you okay?" Maia asked.

Draco sighed and looked at her. "No. I told Grace that I love her. But I need to protect her. I need to protect her from the dark lord. And I don't know what to do," Draco said.

Maia looked to him and smiled. "You need to keep her safe. And that means keeping this secret from everyone. Especially mother and father," Maia said as Draco nodded.

But with both Malfoy siblings keeping secrets from the dark lord, could they keep themselves and others safe?
