Narcissa looked to her daughter. She was waiting for an answer. "Maia. I don't have all day. I'm needed back at the manor," she said. She sighed. "So tell me. How long have you been having relations with Severus Snape?"

"It's been a couple of times. You know what the dark lord asked me to do. You know I had to seduce him. I didn't want to do it," Maia said.

Narcissa sighed. "I told you I would fix it for you. Do you think I like the idea of my daughter being forced to sleep with that man. You are my baby. I love you."

"I love you to mother."

Narcissa smiled and looked to her daughter. She pulled her into an hug. "I'll see you soon my Angel."

Maia knew how it was getting more and more complicated with her and Severus. She knew that she had been sent to Hogwarts to seduce him. But she couldn't. She couldn't put herself through that.

Maia sighed as she walked down into the common room. She saw Grace there and smiled. "I'm shocked you're not wrapped around my brothers cock."

"Hilarious. We do actually do stuff other than have sex. We talk about the future. The kids we may have," she said.

"Cute. I love the idea of you and my brother talking babies. You're all going to be okay. I hope you know that," Maia told her as she smiled. She looked to her. "I'm glad you and him worked out. You're a good person. And you deserve to be happy."

"Are you okay? You're acting really nice. Too nice for Maia Malfoy," Grace commented as she smiled.

Maia shrugged. "I just realised that life is one big mess. And if I'm to have any type of future, I need to take control of what I do."

Grace looked to her. "Has this got anything to do with Snape? I know what you had to do. So."

Maia sighed. "The dark lord knew we were faking the whole sex thing. We actually had to have sex. And I just... I don't want to be a part of this anymore. I don't want this life anymore."

Grace took her hand. She smiled. "Whatever happens, it's going to be fine. I promise," she told her.

Maia walked through the dungeons. She saw Severus and sighed. "Leave me alone," she said as she tried to walk past him.

Severus grabbed her and pulled her into alcove. He looked to her. "The dark lord has spies. These spies heard you say you're leaving. You cannot do that. He will hunt you down and kill you."

"I would rather die than be forced into this. I can't do it anymore," Maia mumbled.

Severus sighed. "And you think I enjoy sleeping with a student? It is no joy for me. But he knows we have faked it. And he isn't happy," he said.

Maia sighed. She hated how her life had become this. Forced to have sex with a man she didn't want to sleep with. She knew how it wasn't going to get any better.

Maia sighed as she walked into the common room. Draco was there. "We've been called to the headmasters office," he said.

"Why?"

"I don't know."

The two of them made their way to the office. Draco held the door open for her. "Aunt Andromeda?" Maia said as she saw her estranged aunt. She sat down with Draco next to her. "What's going on?"

Andromeda was crying. "It's your mother."

Maia paled. She knew what was coming. "W-What happened?" 

"She's been killed..."
