Maia laid in bed and sighed. Her head was a mess and she couldn't stop thinking about what Severus had said. And how he thought that Narcissa was alive.
Maia didn't understand it. She didn't understand why her mother would do that. She knew that there would have to be a reason for her to do that.
Maia sat up from her bed. She ran her hands through her hair through her hair. She looked to Grace as she walked in and smiled. "Are you okay?" Grace asked.
Maia sat up and sighed. "No I am far from it. My head is a mess and I don't know what to think. I mean, Snape thinks my mother could be alive and I don't know...I am just scared," she told her with a shrug.
Grace sat on the bed next to her and smiled. "You want answers? Then you have to get them. Only you can do it. Look no matter what happened with your mother, I am your best friend. And I am here for you," she said as Maia looked to Grace and nodded.
"How is Draco doing? He won't talk to me. And I know what he is like," Maia asked, worried about her brother.
Grace looked to him and smiled. "He's struggling . I know how hard it is. But it will be okay. I am not going to let him push me away. You just need to try and find out the truth. That's all," Grace said as Maia looked to her and smiled.

Maia got to Severus' classroom. She looked to him and sighed. "I need answers. You said that you think my mother is alive. So I need answers. I need to know that she is. I can't sit back and do nothing. I can't pretend that nothing is going on with her," she said.
Severus looked to her and sighed . "I don't know anything."
"But you suspect it. There's no body. And it doesn't feel right, you know? Look I know how things have been with me and you. I know how it hasn't been easy. But she is my mother. And I need to know," she said.
Severus looked to her and nodded. "I get that. I know it's not easy. But what I know is that she was worried about threats. If she did this faked her death, I know that she would do it to protect you and Draco," he said as Maia looked to him and frowned.
She didn't what to think.

Maia sat in the common room. She looked to Draco as he walked in. He looked to her, "I spoke to Grace. You think that mother could be alive? She wouldn't do this to us," he said.
"What? Fake her death? She would if she had to. She would do it to protect us that's all. I don't know what to think. But there is something going on. I am going to find out what it is," she said as he looked to her and sighed.
But the question was what had happened with Narcissa? And was she really alive?
