Affair With Darkness •Severus Snape•

Chapter One

Maia walked towards the headmistress' office. She had been summoned late at night and she didn't know why.

Maia knocked the door and sighed. She was called inside. She got a shock when she saw her mother, Narcissa Malfoy.

Maia smiled widely as she was pulled into a hug by her mother. "What's going on? Is father okay? Draco?" She asked.

Narcissa nodded and smiled. "Yes. They're both fine. You're to come back home. You're going to be enrolled into Hogwarts," she told her.

Maia was shocked and confused. She couldn't believe what was happening. "But what about wanting to keep me away from Hogwarts? Keeping me and Draco apart?" She asked.

Narcissa sighed and looked at her. "I know my dear. But it's for the best."

Maia stepped out into the floo at Malfoy Manor. Lucius smiled and looked at her. "Hello my dear. How are you?"

"Confused as to why I've had to return. I was happy at Beauxbatons. I had my friends there," Maia said as she hugged her brother.

Lucius smiled. "All will be revealed my dear."

Maia walked up to her bedroom. She looked around and sighed. She felt like she had been brought back for a reason. She wanted to know what it was.

Narcissa walked into the bedroom. She saw Maia sitting on her bed. She walked over and sat down with her. "Are you okay?" She asked.

Maia shook her head. "Please be honest. Why am I back here?"

Narcissa sighed. "The dark lord. He requested you to come back. He has a mission for you."

Maia scoffed and looked at her. "So I've been taken away from my school because of that man? Mother, whatever happened to we're not getting involved in all of this," she said.

Narcissa could tell that her daughter was going to be annoyed about it all. She took her hand and smiled. "I won't let anyone hurt you darling. I promise you."

Maia nodded. She looked at her mother. "I don't think I can do all of this. I just want to be a normal girl. But I doubt that's going to happen," she mumbled.

Maia walked down for dinner. She paled when she saw the dark lord there. "You must be Maia. You are absolutely beautiful. Welcome back."

Maia said nothing. She just nodded her head in acknowledgment. She sat down at the table next to Draco and felt him take her hand. She looked at Draco and smiled.

Voldemort noticed. "Oh look. The care between the two Malfoy twins. How is your love life going Maia?" He asked.

Maia looked over at him and sighed. "I don't have a love life. I've been focused on my studies."

"Good. This will make your mission a lot more simple."

Maia frowned. But she said nothing. She looked over at her father. Voldemort smirked and looked at her. "I want you to seduce Severus Snape. Make him fall in love with you. I don't trust him."

Maia was shocked. But could she do what he wanted? Could she seduce the Hogwarts potion master without either of them getting hurt?

Maia knew in that moment, she needed to do what she could to keep herself and anyone else alive.
