So, Coco is officially a lesbian (2019 hype which I wasn't aware off) based on the 'After the Fall' book. I haven't read it but I read a screenshot of it, that Coco is being crushed on hard by the females in her school, and that she's a total heart breaker (Sounds like her alright!)
(Ooo! Careful Velvet! You might get burned!---Honestly, Im crushing on Coco a bit here 😳)
Basing from the screentime that they have from the show (not the books)----I might ship them, given that they look cute together and they have that 'contrasting-personalities' appeal that I adore so much!
(SCREEEEE YESSSS YESS YEZZZZ)
But, based on the perspective of fans who actually read that book, I don't think the ship was that great? On a scale of 'healthiness' level.
Hear me out, the book is like this (my friend read it, this is how he described the book):
Coco is very proud, confident, and stuck-up---and it can be validated by her abilities. She doesn't really listen to her team mates, and she keeps holding back Velvet (who is also very strong) and keeps treating her as the most vulnerable one.
I mean, its cute, in a way that she thinks that she's trying to protect her but ngrrrr....
(I CANT I LOVE THIS ONE! HAHA)
I mean, read the book on your own if you'd like! Coco eventually comes to the realization that Velvet deserves respect and treats her better!
In my opinion though, Coco may be too much for Velvet. But Velvet may become that positive part in her life if they were ever involved romantically.
(I really love Coco, her personality and design. Wish their other appearances were not exclusive to the books though 😥)
