So we all know how close they are, they were close friends and Penny's first death traumatized Ruby.
Its fine! They reunited like nothing happened anyways! No CANON trauma happened!
So anyway, they're both cute and they have no problems with one another. If anything, they would be the epitome of the perfect and healthy couple (two cinnamon rolls as a couple? YESSS, who thought of that?!! COME ERE!)

(Also, It's kinda funny how Ruby and Ironwood fought over Penny in Volume 7-8 like she was their child though. Like I LOLLLed so hard)
Anyway, I really like how Penny was developed in Volume 7-8. On the other hand, Ruby's character was all over the place. (Fight me---actually Im joking)

Would I ship them? I wouldn't know, but there WAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL. Because nooo, Penny was killed AGAIN! And RUBY DIDN'T EVEN SEE HER DIE!
Ruby could've witnessed Jaune mercy-killing her, but nope. Let's wait at the beach! The beach will solve everything! Let's YEEETT the entire team there, and waste this great character (Penny) which we focused on for two volumes!
