Draco's POV

"I was so sure it was Jones," Ron said, as we sat on Hermione's bed in the hospital.

"I told you so," I smirked, Ron glared at me but I just smiled, proudly.

"What's that?" Harry asked, pointing to a note under Hermione's pillow.

"Just a card," She flushed, trying to push it out of sight. Ron grabbed it quickly, his eyes filling with disgust as he glanced at it.

"To Miss Granger, wishing you a speedy recovery, from your concerned teacher, Professor Gilderoy Lockhart, Order of Merlin, Third Class, Honorary Member of the Dark Force Defense League, and five-time winner of Witch Weekly's Most- Charming-Smile Award. " I chuckled as Ron glared at her.

"You sleep with this under your pillow?"

"You three need to leave, it's time for her dose of medicine." Madam Pomfrey yelled, Hermione looked relieved, smiling up at Madam Pomfrey as she grabbed the note from Ron, waving us goodbye.

---

"What's wrong, Myrtle?" I asked as we walked into her bathroom. There was water up to our ankles, and the toilet was still overflowing.

"Who's that? Come to throw something else at me?" She asked, glancing at us from over her shoulder.

"Why would we throw something at you?" Harry asked,

"Don't ask me!" She yelled, angrily, causing more water to gush out.

"Here I am, minding my own business, and someone thinks it's funny to throw a book at me!" She started crying again, we all glanced at each other uncomfortably.

"But it can't hurt you if someone throws something at you? I mean wouldn't it just go right through you?" Harry asked, Myrtle, stopped crying turning her hurt eyes on Harry again.

"Let's all throw books at Myrtle, because she can't feel it! Ten points if you can get it through her stomach! Fifty points if it goes through her head! Well, ha, ha, ha! What a lovely game, I don't think!" She shrieked in his face, Ron and I shared an annoyed glance, as she started crying again.

"Myrtle who threw that book at you?" Ron asked,

"I don't know... I was just sitting in the U-bend, thinking about death, and it fell right through the top of my head. It's over there, it got washed out..." She pointed over to the book, that was floating in the water.

Harry stepped forward, but Ron jumped, grabbing his arm, holding him back.

"What?"

"Are you crazy? It could be dangerous!"

"Dangerous? Come off it, how could it be dangerous?" Harry laughed,

"He's right you know," I said, Harry, glanced at me confused, just like he did to Ron.

"Some of the books the Ministry's confiscated Dad's told me - there was one that burned your eyes out. And everyone who read Sonnets of a Sorcerer spoke in limericks for the rest of their lives. And some old witch in Bath had a book that you could never stop reading! You just had to wander around with your nose in it, trying to do everything one-handed. And -" Ron explained before Harry cut him off.

"All right, all right, I've got your point." But he glanced back at the book again, watching it as it soaked and floated around.

"Well, we won't find out, unless we look at it!" Harry said, Ron and I shared a nervous glance at each other before we both stood in front of him. He pushed past us and picked up the book. We glanced at the book from his shoulder, reading the name, that was heavily smudged.

T M. Riddle.

"I don't think there'll be any more trouble, Minerva. I think the Chamber has been locked for good this time. The culprit must have known it was only a matter of time before I caught him. Rather sensible to stop now, before I came down hard on him." Lockhart said as I turned the corner.

Dora stood close by, listening with heart eyes as she watched Lockhart brag. I scoffed walking up to her.

"Look what we have here, drooling over Lockhart are you? I thought you did that enough in class anyway." I laughed, she shushed me, slapping her hand over my mouth.

"What if he hears you, you idiot!" She snapped, I glared at her, as she pulled me away from a gloating Lockhart, before pulling her hand away.

"He could have heard you!" She yelled, shaking her head at me.

"Oh, please. You wish he did! You're in love with him." I laughed, but there was no joy In my laugh.

"Well I mean just look at him, wouldn't you just be in love with him too?"

"No,"

"We'll you have no taste them!" She snapped, starting to walk away, I scoffed again walking behind her.

"I have taste!"

"Really then who do you think is cute?" She asked, laughing.

"I-well, what about Gwenog Jones!" She stopped walking, making bump into her back and stumble, before gaining my balance again, she turned at me, glaring.

"You think Gwenog Jones is cute?" She yelled,

"Yes," I said, more confidently.

"She's not even that great of a quidditch player!"

"She's the captain! Of course, she's great!" I shot back,

"But! She was a Hufflepuff!"

"So? You're just making up anything to say she isn't cute!"

"I heard she had dated Sirius Black when she was at Hogwarts!" She smirked,

"Well, it's not like she knew he killed her back then did she?"

"Ugh! You are horrible Draco Malfoy!" She cried before walking away again.

"Hey! It's only fair!" I yelled behind her but she didn't turn around.

Theodora's POV

I huffed storming into my dorm room, seeing Pansy and Daphne eating chocolate frogs around a small table we had around a room. I threw my books on the bed, rolling my eyes as they toppled off.

"What's up with you?" Pansy asked, picking up another frog.

"That prick Draco Malfoy!" I snapped,

"What did he do?" Daphne pulled out her potions book, starting to flip through the pages.

"Well, first he almost yelled about me fancing Lockhart! And then he said that he thought Gwenog Jones was cute!" I huffed picking up my books and sitting down angrily.

"Why do you care if he likes Gwenog Jones is cute?"

"I mean she's my cousin! And he can't like her!"

"It's not like he's in love with her! He just fancies her, like you fancy Lockhart!" Daphne laughed, shaking her head.

"Well, he can't!" I snapped, the two looked at each other surprised.

"You don't fancy Malfoy, do you?" Pansy asked,

"No! Of course not!" I yelled, my face turning red.

"Are you sure?" Daphne asked,

"Yes of course! Why would you say that!"

"We'll I mean your upset about him liking Gwenog so I just thought." Pansy shrugged,

"No! Of course not," I muttered,

"Okay, if you say so."

"I do!"
