Draco's POV-
The second we left, I was filled with instant regret. Ron looked the same as we looked over our shoulders at the tent.
"We should go back. That was stupid. Why did we do that?" He whispered,
"I don't know, we just got so angry," I whispered, Ron, signed, as we pushed past some tree branches. We walked in silence, both too disappointed in ourselves to say anything. It wasn't Harry or Hermione's fault that Dora was out there risking her life. It was mine.
"Hermione! Hermione!" Ron yelled, but they seemed nowhere to be found.
"Are you sure we went the right way? I think we came from the east." I said, Ron signed.
"I'm not sure, Merlin. I wish we didn't make that stupid turn by that large rock." Ron groaned, rubbing his face with both of his hands rather aggressively.
"How do we even find them now?" I asked, looking around at the clearing.
"I don't know- "There was a sound of a twig snapping.
"Sh- "I snapped. There it was again, that sound. I gripped my wand, hoping to be ready for whatever was out there, and hoping it was Ted and Dean from earlier tonight.
"Explliemus!" Two people shouted. Ron and my wands went flying and landed on in a dirty hand. Four people came out. They had yellow teeth and dirty-looking faces. They had on death eater robes, snatcher robes.
"Incarcerous!" The snatchers yelled. I felt my legs and arms being tied before falling down on my side. I grunted in pain, landing on a sharp rock that started making the side of my stomach bleed. They grabbed me by my shoulder, and pushed me against a tree, before doing the same to Ron, who yelped in pain, one of the snatchers had grabbed him from his injured arm.
"Now, who are you two?" The snatcher asked. He put his wand against my jaw, slowly tracing my jawline with it.
"They have to be mudbloods!" One said excitedly, rubbing his dirty hands together in glee.
"Let's take them to the ministry then!"
"Get their bag-"
"Wait, I'm Stan Shunpike," Ron screamed in my ear.
"Wait, Stan?" One asked, Ron, nodded.
"Yes, have we met before?"
"No, but I heard of you, lousy death eater." One death eater pointed at me.
"And who are you? If that's Stan?"
"I'm-I'm Leo Jones,"
"Jones? Like from the Jones family, where the dark lord is staying?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yes! We were trying to catch some muggle-borns, but you three caught us instead." I lifted my tied-up hands, and the four looked around at each other.
"Oh, well, you two can join our team then."
"What! Who said- "One-handed me my wand back, as the four of them started fighting.
"We never agreed on this!"
"I'm not splitting any more of the cash prizes than I already have too!" I flicked my wand, and Ron and I were free. I sprang up, along with Ron, as we grabbed our bags. They pained no attention to us. Ron slipped his hand into a back pocket of a death eater and grinned as he pulled out the wand.
"See you later!" Ron yelled at them, as I grabbed his arm, and he flicked his wand, apparating us away. I felt my body be pushed and pulled in every way before I finally landed on the ground.
"Ow! Fuck!" Ron shouted, grabbing at his hands.
"What is it?" I asked. Ron showed up his fingers, which were missing three nails now.
"You really suck at this, don't you?"
"Yes, yes, I know. Hilarious." He said as I shrugged. We looked around the spot of the camp sight but nothing was there. The grin I had from seeing Ron in a small amount of pain vanished instantly.
"Where did they go?" I asked,
"I don't know, I thought about the last spot they were in, but- we couldn't have been gone for that long, could we?" Ron said. I looked up, seeing a bright blue sky, knowing we were too late.
"Damn it! They're gone!"
"But they can't be!"
"They are Ron! What do we do know!" I asked,
"We keep looking!"
"Like that's gonna solve anything!"
"What do we do now then?" I asked Ron, snapped his fingers together, thinking.
"Bill and Fleur's cottage. We'll stay there until we figure out where they are," Ron said.
"Is that our only option?"
"Do you have any better ideas?" Ron asked. I shook my head.
"No, fine let's go." I huffed. Ron nodded as he took out his wand again. I shook my head.
"I think I should do it. I don't want you losing ahead now, do we?" I asked, Ron, rolled his eyes, before gripping my arm. We were once again thrown around before our feet met the ground, and Bill and Fleur's cottage stood in front of us.
The door opened, and Bill walked out, his wand out in front of him.
"Don't shoot! It's just us!" Ron yelled. Bill breathed out, relieved, before running over and hugging Ron.
"Ugh! Get off!" Ron said, but he looked a bit happier now that he saw his big brother was safe.
"What happened to you two? Where's Harry and Hermione?" Bill asked, looking Ron over. He stared at Ron's bloody arm and missing fingernails.
"And what happened here?" Ron's smile from seeing his brother vanished, and the guilt of us leaving came storming back to us.
"It was my-"
"We got separated. We just need a few days to stay here until we can finally find them again," I said, cutting him off.
"Whatever you need! We'll be happy to help. Come on in, go get some food, and clean up." Bill said,
"And Ron, you really need a bath. You stink!"
"Hey! I still look better than you," Ron snapped back as Bill rolled his eyes.
"Yes, but are you married to a Veela? I think not."
---
We stayed there for a couple of weeks; it was supposed to be only a couple of days, but still no sign of Harry and Hermione. I slept in an empty bedroom upstairs when the door banged open, and I jumped up, grabbing my wand.
"What is going-"
"Shut up, and listen!" Ron shouted. I looked at him, confused.
"Listen? What are you-"
"Can you hear that?" Ron asked, interrupting me again.
"No," I scowled at him.
"You can't hear her?"
"Hear who?"
"Hermione!" He yelled, angrily shaking me by the shoulders.
"No! I can't hear anything!" I said, pushing him off. Ron chewed on his bottom lip before grabbing my bag and starting to shove my clothes into it frantically.
"What are you-"
"We're going to follow the voice,"
"It's a voice, Ron! What if you are just imagining it!" I yelled, trying to calm him down, but he shook his head.
"No! No! It doesn't feel fake! Just trust me." Ron pleaded, with a desperate look in his eyes.
"Okay, okay, I get it. I believe you." I said, standing up, and pulling a T-shirt on.
"Good, let's go!" He shouted, and before we knew it, we were saying goodbye to Bill and Fleur, and on our way to follow this voice.
