Draco's POV-

After opening all our presents we walked downstairs, where Hermione was waiting for us, and my parents who wished a merry Christmas.

"Thanks for the book guys." She said, looking at Harry and me. We both smiled before she turned to Ron.

"Thanks for the perfume...it's really unusual."

"No problem." Ron said, his ears turning a little red.

"Just get together all ready!" Dora shouted from the couch. Hermione cleared her throat, and they both pretended not to hear her.

"Breakfast?" I asked.

"Date!"

"Dora!"

"Kiss!"

"Dora!"

"Fine, I'll stop." Dora grinned,

"Weasley and Granger sitting in a tree-"

"You just like to make people uncomfortable, don't you?" I asked.

"A bit."

---

After breakfast, we changed and went to go see Mr. Weasley. Dora decided to stay home, claiming that she liked sleeping better. My parent, Lupin and mad-eye came with us.

"Everything all right, Arthur?" Mrs. Weasley asked him, as he put his tray of food on his nightstand.

"Fine, fine. You — er — haven't seen Healer Smethwyck, have you?"

"No, why?" Mrs. Weasley asked, suspiciously.

"Nothing, nothing. Well, everyone had a good day? What did you all get for Christmas? Oh, Harry - this is absolutely wonderful!" He said, after opening Harry's Christmas present.

"Arthur," Mrs. Weasley said in a sharp tone.

"You've had your bandages changed. Why have you had your bandages changed a day early, Arthur? They told me they wouldn't need doing until tomorrow."

"What? No, no - it's nothing - it's -I-" He sat up, starting to cover his chest.

"Well - now don't get upset, Molly, but Augustus Pye had an idea... he's the Trainee Healer, you know, lovely young chap and very interested in... um... complementary medicine... I mean, some of these old Muggle remedies... well, they're called stitches, Molly, and they work very well on - on Muggle wounds -" Mrs. Weasley let a small gasp out as she glared at Mr. Weasley. Bill, Fred, and George walked away for some tea, and Lupin walked over to a recently bit werewolf.

"Do you mean to tell me, that you have been messing about with Muggle remedies?"

"Not messing about, Molly, dear, it was just - just something Pye, and I thought we'd try - only, most unfortunately — well, with these particular kinds of wounds - it doesn't seem to work as well as we'd hoped -" Mr. Weasley tried to explain.

"Meaning?"

"Well... well, I don't know whether you know what - what stitches are?"

"It sounds as though you've been trying to sew your skin back together, but even you, Arthur, wouldn't be that stupid —"

"I fancy a cup of tea, too," Harry said, jumping up. Ginny, Hermione, Ron, and I followed him out.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, THAT'S THE GENERAL IDEA?" We heard Mrs. Weasley scream.

---

"Come on everyone, dinner is ready." Mrs. Weasley said.

"Is Dora not coming down?" I asked, and Mum shook her head.
