Draco's POV-
It had been months now since we got the locket from the ministry; it was my turn to wear it, today, as Harry went to get some food from a town near us, Hermione guarded the tent, and I was stuck with it.
She didn't deserve you.
Look what you've done to her.
It's all your fault.
That voice, the icy, heartless one, said in my head again and again. I wanted to throw it across the room, but I was stuck with it, for now, until we learned how to destroy it. But that seemed to take ages.
I stirred in bed, wanting to throw it away.
Why couldn't we just keep it in the bag?
I thought, but Hermione wouldn't let me.
After a couple of hours, they came back in, and we sat around the "food."
"The house-elves made better food than this," I whispered under my breath. Ron heard me through and sent me an know what you mean look.
"Draco, it's Ron's turn to wear the necklace," Hermione said, a matter-of-factly. I gladly took the necklace off and handed it to Ron. I signed, almost feeling like a weight had lifted from my shoulders. I physically relaxed while Ron only tensed up. Ron and Hermione started fighting, as Harry and I tried to eat the rest of our food, but I just tossed mine back, before I heard something from outside our tent.
"Shut up," I whispered, but they didn't hear me.
"I SAID SHUT UP!" I snapped angrily.
"How can you side with him? He doesn't even know how to cook-"
"Shut up, Hermione," Harry said, finally hearing what I was.
"I can hear someone," I said, which shut them both up, as I heard some rustling from outside.
"You cast the Muffliato charm over us, right?" I asked as Harry looked over at the sneakscope that wasn't moving.
"I did everything, Muffliato, Muggle-Repelling and Disillusionment Charms, all of it. They shouldn't be able to hear or see us, whoever they are." Hermione whispered back. Harry stood up and grabbed the extendable ears Ron had brought along. He shoved one outside, making sure it wasn't seen, and handed us the listening piece.
We listened to the five people talking and figured out it was Dean Thomas, Ted Tonks, and three other goblins with them.
They explained how Ginny, Luna, and Neville tried to steal Godric Gryffindor's sword, but Snape caught them, while one Goblin said that he switched out the sward for a fake one. We then talked to Phinse Nigelen, Sirius Black's great uncle about the sward. When he finally disappeared, Harry and Hermione grinned widely, they both started talking wildly, Ron and I rolled our eyes, fuming with anger.
"So, would he have hidden the sword well away from Hogsmeade, then? What d'you reckon, Ron? Draco?" Harry asked.
"Oh, remember us, have you?" Ron asked.
"What?" Harry said,
"You two carry on. Don't let us spoil your fun." I snapped,
"What's the problem?" Harry asked as Ron and I both turned away.
"Problem? There's no problem." I said, as Ron walked over and laid on the bed, while I sat down on an empty chair.
"Not according to you," Ron whispered, as we heard it start raining.
"Well, you two obviously got a problem, so spit it out."
"All right, I'll spit it out. Don't expect me to skip up and down the tent because there's some other damn thing we've got to find. Just add it to the list of stuff you don't know." Ron yelled after sitting up.
