Theodora's POV-
I yawned as I walked to the Slytherin common room around one am after spending the day in the room of requirements; it was currently four am.
My friends were hanging around the fire, Theo was doing his homework, Blaise was reading a book, while Pansy and Daphne whispered together on the couch. Pansy waved me over, grinning.
"There you are! We haven't seen you all day. Where were you?" She asked. I shrugged.
"Not important," I said, laying down on the couch across from them. I shut my eyes, resting my arm over my eyes.
"Well, I was just telling Daphne how Draco asked me to come with him to Slughorns Christmas party," Pansy said. I shot up, glaring at her.
"What!" They both stared at me, confused.
"Yeah? I didn't think you'd care too much, since you broke up with him, and he likes to hang out here, I mean." Pansy shrugged.
"Yeah but...you?" I scoffed.
"Yeah, he didn't want to offend Theo by asking Daphne, so he asked me."
"And I'm going stag," Blaise smirked from across the hall.
"Why can't he go stag?" I asked Pansy. She shrugged.
"He didn't want to."
"You know what? It's none of my business," I huffed, laying down again.
"Yeah, I got a new dress for it. Mum sent it to me." I dug my nails into the palm of my hands.
It's my fault.
I thought as I decided to stand up and go upstairs, wishing them all a good night.
I ran to my room, shutting the door behind me. I took a shower, changed into some pajamas, before crawling into my bed. I took out my locket that I always hid under my shirt, watching Draco and me hiding in a closet. We both were shushing each other, trying not to burst out laughing as we heard Draco's friends trying to look for him. Eventually, they left and Draco kissed me before we opened the door and the locket plays it again.
I felt fat tears slipping down my face. As I started shaking, I rubbed my thumb over the moving picture before closing it and trying to drift off to sleep, when I knew I couldn't. The mark still felt like it was burying every second even though father said that it would pass soon.
---
I watched Pansy walk out of the common room in a green glittery dress. That suited her well.
"What's up with your face?" Theo asked. I glared at him.
"What do you mean?" I spat,
"Angry aren't you?" He said,
"Shut up."
"Well, you like a bit... yellowish? And your dark circles?"
"And I'm leaving," I said, making up my mind. I walked out of the common room, not caring if I would be caught.
I just want to see what they were doing.
I thought as I turned a corner.
Why wasn't I invited? Stupid father, it's all his fault. If he wasn't a death eater, then I would never have been. Draco and I would have still been together! I would have been going to that part-
"What are you doing here?" I heard Filch asked, cutting me off of my thoughts.
"Hm? Oh-I was invited!" I snapped. He scowled at me.
