Chapter 2 Moving to Mystreet

Alex's POV

Months after me and Lucinda living together and dating, she wanted to know more about me. "Well, let's see, I don't remember too many things about my childhood. I remember one time where me and my sister started a prank war between each other before our mom grounded us." I said.

"She grounded you over a silly prank war?" Lucinda 

"Well, it wasn't so silly. We were pretty close to blowing the house up a couple times and a few other things." I said. Lucinda giggled at my story. "What about you any childhood stories or anything like that, that come to mind?" I asked. 

"There are a couple, the one that sticks out the most is owning a cafe with a friend. We had our troubles with it before it shut down." Lucinda said. I looked at her. She seemed to be sad about the fact that she wasn't close to any of her friends. "The more I think about them, the more I want to see them again." Lucinda said. 

"Why not find out where they are, then go hang out with them?" I asked.

"That's the thing I haven't seen any of them in years." Lucinda said. 

"Let's stop talking about this and maybe go out." I suggested. She nodded. I grabbed her bag and gave it to her before grabbing my stuff. We headed out to a maid cafe, since it was one of the closest cafes to us. We arrived and were seated pretty quickly. A couple minutes passed before a Meif'wa with pink hair came up to us. "How may Kawaii~chan be of service master and mistress?" She asked. 

"Kawaii~chan is that you?" Lucinda asked. 

"Lucinda~chan? How have you been and who's this?" Kawaii~chan asked. 

"Kawaii~chan get back to work!" Someone yelled. We placed our order with Kawaii~chan before waiting for our food.  We chatted about kawaii~chan along with Lucinda's other friends. Someone with raven black hair showed up to our table dropping our food off. "Aphmau?" Lucinda asked. 

"Lucinda? What are you doing here?" Aphmau asked. 

"I just came here with my friend to enjoy some food." Lucinda said. I looked at Lucinda who had a smirk on her face. "She's joking about the friend part, I'm her boyfriend." I said.

"Really? What happened with your other boyfriend Lucinda?" Aphmau asked. Lucinda looked away from her not saying anything. "I see, well I'll let you two get back to your date." Aphmau said. 

"Aphmau before you leave is there anywhere around you that's up for sale?" Lucinda asked. Aphmau thought about it for a moment before grabbing a napkin and writing an address down on it. "I think this place is up for sale currently." Aphmau said. Aphmau ran off to take care of another customer. "Can we go look at this place please?" Lucinda begged. 

"Sure I don't see why not." I said starting on my food. After we finished eating and paid for our meal we headed to the address that Aphmau gave us. "I hope it's still up for sale." Lucinda said as we walked down the sidewalk towards the address. We arrived at the address and looked at the house. "It doesn't look to bad, do you think we could afford it?" Lucinda asked. 

"I don't see why not, most of the money that I make from my shop is saved since I use little to no electricity, same with my apartment." I said.

"You have that much saved up?" Lucinda asked. I looked at her surprised she asked that. "I guess it makes sense. Sorry I shouldn've thought about it before I asked." Lucinda said. I laughed before calling the number on the sign. We set a meeting for later that day to check out the house and talk about buying it. Once the meeting was set we had some time to kill so we walked around the neighborhood seeing what was around that we could enjoy. Once we finished looking around the neighborhood we headed back and met with the realtor who showed us the house and everything that was currently in it. "Are you two considering buying it?" The realtor asked. 

"I was thinking about it." I said.

"Well then why don't we see if we can get you approved to buy the house." The realtor said.

(A/n: I don't know how houses are bought and sold so don't give me crap for it please.)

"How much is the house worth?" I asked. The realtor thought about it before telling me price of the house. "Can you give us a couple hours?" I asked. He nodded and we headed to my bank. We picked up the money who the house and headed back to pay for it. "Welcome back you two, are you ready to start the paperwork?" He asked. I nodded setting the money down. We bought the house and the realtor asked about my current apartment. I told him about it and we settled a deal for him to look at it. After that we went back home and started packing our things, as I was putting my pictures away I found one of me and my sister smiling at the camera. I sat back and looked at it for a minute before Lucinda came over to me. "What are you looking at?" She asked wrapping her arms around me.

"Just looking at an old picture." I said. 

"Come on, we can look at them later." Lucinda said. I nodded and finished packing my boxes, we rented a moving truck and headed back to the address we were given. Once we got there we started unloading the boxes before someone knocked on the front door. I walked over and opened it. "Hi welcome to the neighborhood." Aphmau said.

"Hello again Aphmau." I said. 

"Oh it's you, your Lucinda's new boyfriend." Aphmau said. I nodded and invited her inside, Lucinda came out and talked with her while I continued to unload the boxes from the truck.
