Chapter 8

Alex's POV

The next day, me, Lucinda and Kawaii~chan headed to hula lessons. I ended up just watching as the girls took part in the lesson. The thing that kept my attention was watching as Lucinda's hips sway back and forth. Anytime she looked back at me, I would turn away and look somewhere else. After about thirty minutes of the lesson, I noticed something off with Kawaii~chan. She was looking at other people's hula skirts before getting closer to attack the hula skirts. She ended up scratching most of the people's legs. Kawaii~chan got Lucinda as well. I rushed over to see how bad her scratches were. "Are you okay?" I asked. 

"Yeah, I'm fine. They just sting a little." Lucinda said. I nodded and pulled out a green rune. I pressed it against her leg and waited for a moment. The rune glowed green before the scratches on her legs disappeared. "Woah, a healing rune?" She asked. I nodded and put it away. "Yeah. It's one of the better runes that I've made." I said.

"How does it work?" She asked. 

"The rune works by taking the life energy out of some plants and using it to speed up the healing process." I explained. I looked at Kawaii~chan, who seemed disappointed by what she did. "Do you want to take Kawaii~chan home for now?" I asked. Lucinda nodded and walked over before leading her out of the class and headed home. "Does anyone else need some healing?" I asked. A few people raised their hands. I walked over and healed their scratches the best I could before apologizing for Kawaii~chan. They accepted the apology before thanking me for healing them. I headed back home to see Lucinda trying to cheer Kawaii~chan up. "How about we bake some sweets?" Lucinda asked. Kawaii~chan nodded as they headed in to the kitchen to make something sweet. I ended up helping them by mixing the ingredients before they started messing around with the cookie dough. "Lucinda, how about we go on a walk for a minute?" I asked. She nodded and grabbed my hand before we headed out to walk around the resort. We talked about Kawaii~chan acting the way she did at the hula lessons. Along the walk, someone started calling at Lucinda. We turned to see a girl with brown hair and another girl with reddish pink hair were coming towards us. "Teony? Ivy?" Lucinda asked. They hugged each other before talking amoungst themselves for a minute. I stood there not sure whether to head back or to stay with them. "Teony, Ivy this is my boyfriend Alex." I said. I waved to them before they looked at me before pulling Lucinda a littl ways away. They talked for a second ebfore looking at me. "We're happy to meet you." Teony said walking over to us.

"It's nice to meet you too. Would you like to come over to our place?" I asked. Ivy and Teony looked at each other before nodding. We headed back to the house and walked inside to see Kawaii~chan pulling the cookies out. "Lucinda~chan, Alex~kun the cookies are done." Kawaii~chan said.

"That's awesome. We brought a couple guests back with us." I said. 

"Ivy~chan? Teony~chan?" Kawaii~chan asked. They nodded and looked at her before waving. "How do you all know each other?" I asked.

"All four of us went to high school together." Lucinda said. 

"Oh I see." I said. We set the cookies on a plate and headed to the table to talk. They ended up talking about the times from high school and what led up to us being on Love~Love Paradise. The more they talked about high shcool the more I started to wonder about what Lucinda looked like in her school uniform. After a while everyone ended up coming back to the hosue and everyone started chatting with everyone else. I almost felt left out because everyone here went to the same high school, but me. "Hey you're a little quiet. What's wrong?" Lucinda asked.

"Nothing." I said. 

"Come on, I can tell that something is wrong with you." Lucinda said.

"It's just everyone here knows everyone from high school. I went to a different high school, so I'm feeling a little left out." I said. 

"Oh, well I think it's just fine. How about we just go watch a movie or something in our room." Lucinda suggested. I nodded and we headed upstairs to our room. "You know I had one other thought while you were talking with everyone." I said. 

"Oh what was that?" She asked.

"How did you look in that school uniform?" I asked. She giggled before looking over her shoulder at me. "Wouldn't you like to know." She said slyly. I sighed before we put on a movie and laid down on the bed to watch it. Halfway through the movie Lucinda got up and headed to the bathroom. When she came back out she was in a school uniform. I felt my face heat up before I ended up looking away from her. "What's with that reaction?" She asked. 

"I didn't think you'd put one on right now." I said still looking away from her. I heard the bed creak as she crawled onto it. She pulled my face towards her forcing me to look at her. "What's wrong with me in one right now?" She asked. 

"N-nothing." I said. She smirked before grabbing onto my arm and turning to watch the movie again. I let out a sigh before kissing her cheek. "You're dangerous, you know that?" I asked. She giggled as she looked at me. "I know, and you hate it don't you?" She asked. I thought for a moment before shaking my head. "Nope, I think it's fun." I said.
