Chapter 16

A/n: This is the last chapter I'm posting of this, however the person who requested this story is starting their own. Go check out austin333lee's story. This chapter is also 3 years later, after most everything is settled in the mystreet universe.

Alex's POV

I woke up after dreaming about everything me and Lucinda have gone through before I heard our bedroom door open. "Papa! Mama!" Astrid shouted. I sat up to see my little girl walking towards the bed. "Good morning, sweetie. Is it time to get up already?" I asked. 

"Yes! Plus Lev is hungry." She said. I smiled and nodded. "Okay, why don't you get mama up while I go get ready for the day." I said. Astrid nodded, running to the other side of the bed. I heard a quiet groan from Lucinda before seeing Astrid climb onto the bed and start patting Lucinda on the back. "Mama! Get up mama!" Astrid said. I laughed silently as Lucinda sat up and started tickling Astrid. I climbed in the shower and did my normal morning routine before I got out and got ready for the day. "Honey, will you come watch the kids so I can take a shower?" Lucinda called from the living room. 

"Of course." I said, walking into the living room. I sat down on the floor with the kids while we watched a show that Lucinda put on for the kids. "Papa, I'm hungry." Lev said. I nodded and got up from the floor, heading into the kitchen. "What would you two like for breakfast today?" I asked. 

"Pancakes!" They both shouted. I nodded and got everything out to make pancakes for them. I started making the pancakes for the kids. Once Lucinda was done in the shower, she came down the stairs looking into the living room. "You three doing okay?" She asked.

"Papa's making pancakes!" Astrid shouted. 

"I see. Then I should hurry and get ready for the day." Lucinda said. I didn't hear a response from the kids before hearing Lucinda walk back upstairs. Once I finished the pancakes, I set everything out for the kids and Lucinda. "Alright, pancakes are done." I said. The kids cheered as they ran over and sat down at the table. I pour the kids some orange juice before helping them put some syrup on their pancakes. "Honey, you're missing out on pancakes." I called. After that I heard her rushing around upstairs before coming down the stairs as fast as she could. She sat down and started to eat the pancakes I made. "Oh honey don't forget the kids have a playdate with Alina today." Lucinda said. I nodded. "Don't worry I remembered. They're coming here for the playdate too." I said.

"Yay! We get to play with Alina today." Lev cheered. Astrid tried to cheer about it, but had a mouth full of pancake and syrup. "Astrid, you shouldn't try to talk with a mouth full of food." Lucinda said. 

"Sorry." Astrid said, after swallowing her food. 

"It's okay sweetie, now that you two have eaten how about you go brush your teeth, wash your face then get changed?" I suggested. Lev and Astrid both nodded before getting down from the table and heading upstairs. Luncinda and I cleaned up from breakfast before heading upstairs to check on the kids. I checked in on Lev seeing him trying to put on his pants and shirt at the same time. "Lev, bud, do you want some help?" I asked. He looked at me and nodded, I smiled and walked into his room before pulling his shirt over his head. "There, now you can pull your pants up." I said. He nodded and pulled his pants up before we headed back downstairs. We headed back downstairs and enjoyed some more time together as a family before the afternoon came. Just after noon we heard a knock on the door. "Do you think that's them?" Lucinda asked. 

"Yay! Alina's here!" The kids cheered. We all headed to the door and opened it seeing Aphmau, Aaron and their daughter. "Hey guys come on inside." I said, inviting them in. They came inside and set their stuff down before the kids started playing together. "So how have you two been?" Lucinda asked.

"We've been doing great, Aaron and I have finally got most everything under control even though Alina shows her werewolf traits every now and then." Aphmau said.

"That's good." I said. 

"What about you two?" Aaron asked.

"We've been great. The kids are great, we've even been thinking about teaching them magic soon." Lucinda said. We made lunch for the kids before taking them outside, we sat on the porch watching the kids play in the yard before our parents started showing up. We all chatted for a while before the kids fell asleep. We took them inside and laid them down before preparing a few things outback for a night that we'd all enjoy. Silvana and Eric offered to go pick up some stuff so we could make dinner together. While they were out my parents got to know Aphmau and Aaron better before Lucinda's mom talked with them. "This is the best." Lucinda said. I looked at her and nodded. "Yup everyone's here and getting along." I said. 

"We'll have to wake the kids up once dinners ready though." Lucinda reminded. 

"I know, but knowing Alina she'll be the first one up." I said.
