Lucinda x OC

Chapter 6

Alex's POV

A few weeks ago, Aphmau popped over and invited me and Lucinda to an anime convention. We agreed to have fun with everyone. I let out a sigh as we walked into the hotel. "Oh, come on, I know you'll enjoy this." Lucinda said. 

"I know, I've just never thought about cosplaying before." I said. She looked at me with a smirk. "Are you embarrassed by the cosplay?" Lucinda asked. I thought about the couple's cosplay Lucinda wanted to do and let out another sigh. She kissed me on the cheek, making me smile. "Fine, I am looking forward to doing it with you, but I'm still unsure about it." I said. She smiled and led me to the elevator. We headed up to the floor that Aphmau had her room on, me and Lucinda got our own room. "Let's put our stuff away then we can go visit everyone and hang out for a bit." Lucinda said. I nodded and opened the door. We pulled our stuff out and got it ready for the convention. After that, we headed to Aphmau's room and hung with everyone all night. The next morning, me and Lucinda joined up with everyone at the convention center. The first day of the convention me and Lucinda spent as much time looking as we could. We bought a few things, but they weren't huge. We had a lot of fun on the first day, but it had to end. The second day Lucinda used her magic to dress us up as Kirito and Asuna from "Sword Art Online" she ended up catching me by surprise with it.

"Why Kirito and Asuna? And why from the Aincrad Arc?" I asked. 

"Well, I figured since you like Sword Art Online so much that this would be the best one to do." Lucinda said. I nodded, but then thought about our other costumes. "What about our other cosplay that you wanted to do?" I asked. She smirked at me. "We'll do that one tomorrow." She said. I nodded and stepped out the door. "Oh, one more thing." Lucinda said. She cast one more spell, having prop swords appear on my back. "There now the look is complete." She said. She set her staff to the side and followed me out. We got to the convention center, where we met up with the rest of the gang. As we walked around the center, people kept complimenting us on the cosplay. We spent the second day finding little events to do. We ended up winning a couple's cosplay event after Lucinda entered us without me knowing. "Lucinda, I wish you would've told me about that event before you entered me." I said.

"Fine, will a kiss make it up to you?" She asked. I looked at her and nodded. She leaned in and kissed me on the lips. "There. Do you feel better now?" She asked. I nodded. "Now come on we've got some things to buy." She said. She dragged me around the center finding different things to buy. "Wow, I didn't realize you were that into anime." Lucinda said. I looked at her as I carried my bag full of anime merch out the door. "Sorry, I just couldn't contain myself when we walked by some of those stands." I said. When we got back to the hotel we looked through the merch that each of us picked up. "Wow, we got so much where are we going to put all of this in our house?" Lucinda asked. We finished looking that the stuff that each of us bought and headed to bed for the night. The next morning came and both of us got up early to put the cosplay we planned on together. I was cosplaying as Deku from My Hero Academia while Lucinda cosplayed as Ochaco Uraraka. She used her magic on us to make us look a little more like them, but as adults. "Alright we're all set to go." Lucinda said. We headed out and to the convention center. She had some plans with some of the other girls, so I ended up hanging around the merch stands. Every once in a while someone would ask to take a picture of me or with me. I agreed every time which made them happy. While I was looking through the stands I felt something pull on my pants. "Mister Deku?" Someone asked. I looked down to see a kid around eight or nine years old. "Hi, did you need something?" I asked. 

"I can't find my mama." They said. I nodded and grabbed their hand. "How about we go to a place where they might be able to find her?" I asked. The kid nodded, I walked over to the security office and knocked on the door. "Hello sir, how can we help you?" The officer asked. 

"Hi, this kid lost his mom while they were walking around the convention. Is there any way you can find her?" I asked. The officer nodded and let us into the office, the officer asked the kid some questions before having us wait. While we waited I played with the kid after a while he started asking questions about deku. I answered as best as I could before his mom showed up. "Thank you mister Deku!" The kid said as they waved goodbye. I waved back before heading over to where I agreed to meet Lucinda. "Oh my Irene! Alex where were you?" Lucinda asked. 

"A kid came up to me and asked me to help them find their mom. I just took them to the security office and we hung out there for a while." I said.

"Well, well. Trying to fit into your cosplay there?" Lucinda asked. I smiled and nodded we finished looking around the stands finding the last bit of merch we could find before we headed back to the hotel again. We spent one last night there before heading home to put all of our merch away and spend the next day relaxing. "That was so much fun." I said. Lucinda hummed in agreement.
