Living Louder

A/N: yo listen to the song on the sidebar thingie. Its reallllly good and I thought it was relevant.

"Thank you guys for everything! You rock!" Maddi said to the cheering crowd. It was the end of another show, and it seemed each time they played, more and more people came. They'd even gotten a small raise for bringing so much business to the small diner. It wasnt much, but they had enough to pay for thier apartment, which meant a huge deal to them. As soon as they stepped off the stage, the 5SOS boys came over to them. They were all more or less friends now, and they came to all the shows.

"You guys did great, I really liked the first piece you guys did, what was it called again?" Calum said, picking up Chases bass for her. Chase just smiled. "Living Louder by The Cab."

Calum nodded and leaned against the counter. "You guys wanna grab something to eat before we leave?" Everyone nodded and pulled two tables together so everyone could fit. They had just taken their orders when a man in a suit walked up to their table. "Is this the band that just performed?" All the girls looked up at the man. He had closed cropped hair and a clean shaven face, and he looked quite intimidating.

"Uhm, yeah?" Maddi said. The 5SOS boys looked at one another and shared a small smile, but nobody else noticed. "Well, I am Derrick Finney, and I am one of the talent scouts for Capitol Records. I've had many recommendation's for us to listen to your music, and I'd like to say I'm quite impressed. Hi or Hey Records would like for you to come into our office on Thursday afternoon to discuss signing a deal with them, if that's okay."

All of the girls stared at the man, wide-eyed and jaws dropped. After a few minutes of staring at him, Chase finally spoke up. "I think that should be fine. Will 1:00 do?" Derrick gave them a small smile. "Perfect." Then he walked away, as quickly as he'd came.

Katie was shaking with joy. "W-Was he being serious!? Are we really getting a record deal? Holy moley." "I wonder who could have mentioned us to them. We're not exactly popular." Maddi piped in. That's when all they boys started smiling really big, until Calum practically shouted, "WE DID! We mentioned you guys to them! Your welcome!"

All the girls were speechless. They stared at Calum, until he waved his hand in front of their faces. "You guys okay?" They all snapped out of their daze. Chase shook her head quickly and blushed. "Yeah, we're fine. This is all just so surreal. We never expected this, especially so quickly."

Chase looked up when their food got there. They had all just ordered a giant plate of nachos to share, since it was one of the specials. They all ate in silence until Michael spoke up and said, "So are you guys all single or what?"

All of a sudden, the girls busted out laughing while Calum shoved Michael. "Y-You think we'd actually have a c-chance with guys?" Maddi said, wiping tears from her eyes. "Your too funny." "I was being completely serious." Michael deadpanned, sending the girls into another fit of laughter.

After they had calmed down, Chase asked, "Well, what made you ask that? It was sorta random." She said, giggling. "Well, you all are pretty cute, and you have great personalities. I was just curious." "Great personalities my ass." Maddi mumbled under her breath.

Katie shot Maddi a look that said don't you even start. "Uhm, yeah. We're all single. " Katie said, laughing slightly. Michael nodded his head and took the last nacho off the plate, eating it. "So, are you guys single?" Maddi asked.

"Yeah, except for Michael. He's 'dating' this singer named Molly." Luke said, using air quotes around 'dating'. "What do you mean, 'dating'? Maddi said, glancing at Michael, who was giving Luke the death stare. "Well, basically its all for publicity. They're not really dating, although Molly wants it to be an official thing. She's obsessed with him, but he can't stand her. Its quite funny actually, cause she annoys the hell outta him." Luke finished, then yelled. "OW!" He rubbed his leg and glared at Michael, who glared in return.
