28. Eun Ae in the Palace

Three months passed. Suga was very protective of his wife and the little soul growing in her. Anhye had her baby bump visible. Utmost care was taken of her. Both Suga and Il-Seong made sure that she had everything. Anhye received a lot of love from her husband who has become busier since he didn't allow you to sit in the throne room.

The news of her baby reached the mountains. Dojeon along with a lot of animals come to visit her occasionally. She even received a lot of gifts and blessings from different kingdoms. Anhye's kingdom was filled with happiness, looking up at the palace, waiting for the birth of the Little heir.

Meanwhile, Eun Ae was not satisfied with Dojeon's visit to his "important" place, instead of answering her about Suga. So she decided to follow him on his next visit. She followed him to find that he was Suga. Her eyes widened and she clutched her fist as greyish flames evolved from her fist. The Anger in her grew.

But when she heard that Suga had a wife, jealousy built up in her.

So she decided to step in.

The Next Day:

The royal court was peacefully going on when the door suddenly opened. All eyes were on that beautiful lady that walked into the crowd with her head high. All the men continued to stare at her. Everyone in the room was fascinated by her beauty, charm and perfection, except Him.

-"Your Highness". Her soft and sweet voice made all the men go crazy, except for him, as only one voice can make him crazy.

-"Eun Ae…" Suga finally responded. 

Suga asked all the men to walk out to give them privacy. All of them groaned but followed what the king said.

-"What do you want?" Suga asked. His eyes were cold like ice. This wasn't the Eun Ae he knew. This was not his sister who promised to take care of his dongsaeng. When both Suga and Dojeon noticed the change in behavior of Eun Ae, both of them always tried to find excuses not for her to visit them. But her visit here was unexpected.

-"I heard that you have a wife, Your Highness." Eun Ae said as Suga's eyes widened. He was standing by the window looking outside. He calmed himself down.

-"Yes, I have. So, is there anything?"

-"No but I want to meet her." She said.

-"No! You can't." Suga got a sudden fear. Since Eun Ae changed, she tends to sound and act violently. Suga was afraid for both his wife and unborn child. Both of them were fragile. 

-"Why Suga? I just wanted to give them my blessings." She paused.

-"Well, you know what, I am going to visit her myself." And she left before Suga could stop her.

Meanwhile Anhye was in her chamber talking with Dojeon who visited her. Y/n and Mr. Kang were watching from the corner of the room. Y/n was smiling looking at the visible bump of Anhye, unconsciously dreaming of having her own kids with Yoongi.

Her daydream snapped off when she saw the door opening. Her eyes widened to see the person.

-"Eun Ae.." She whispered. Dojeon was equally shocked on seeing her.

-"So this is the fortunate girl who won Suga's heart". Anhye was confused on seeing a sudden guest barging in. But she was more immersed in her beauty and grace. While Eun Ae looked at her from head to toe when her eyes fell on her stomach. Her eyes widened.

-"She is carrying his child." She whispered, realizing he has given himself to someone else, not her. 

-"I don't know what Suga saw in you, but I don't think you are perfect for her. Look at you and look at him. Both of you are no match. He needs someone more beautiful, matured and intelligent maiden to be his wife and carry his children unlike you. Well let me guess, you are just his concubine right?" Everyone gasped. Dojeon was about to say something but Anhye was quick to respond.

-"First of all, you are talking to the queen, secondly if I was not his match, I wouldn't have been carrying our child soon. And yes, I don't need to be beautiful or prettier to win someone's heart. I might not be someone's infatuation, but I am someone to be loved. Please get down from your stereotypes of "beauty is everything". Because, clearly both me and Suga love each other, otherwise he would have been infatuated with you a long time ago, Guardian Eun Ae of North Baekdudaegan. Welcome to my palace." And Anhye walked out, with Dojeon, leaving a boiling Eun Ae inside.

Y/n was shocked and proud of Anhye.

-"I wished I could be brave like her".

<Dojeon's POV>

I stood in the royal garden. Knowing Eun Ae is not safe for Anhye, I need someone to keep an eye on them. I whistled and soon the bushes moved revealing two creatures I have been waiting for.

<Narrator's POV>

A sugar glider and a rabbit came running towards Dojeon and bowed before him.

-"I want you both to keep an eye on Eun Ae. If you find anything wrong, one of you reports and another one of you acts accordingly. Make sure you are not caught". 

Y/n saw Dojeon and the two little creatures with him. Until she found that the rabbit was looking at you. Both of you stared at each other when that bunny winked at you.

WHAT WAS THAT?

Y/n thought.

Meanwhile:

It was time for the Queen's tea time so the maids were preparing her tea. Eun Ae secretly entered when the maids were out to call Anhye. She moved her hand to create some greyish flames that were dissolved in the tea. She smirked.

-"I heard that Kings value their wives till they carry their children. On drinking this tea that child will be no more. And I could be Suga's concubine, and might be her future queen. Then I will throw that prick out of my way and can have Suga for myself. I will have his love….or maybe something else." She laughed like a maniac and quietly walked out.

I want to tell you all is looking beautiful is not everything. First of all, you are perfect and beautiful in the way you are. You are your own reason, and believe me you are the star, at least for me and our boys, so for all the ARMYs.
