As soon as the class ended, which was luckily our last, we went straight to our lockers.

"So you're meeting Kenma at your house later?" Nora asked raising her brows at me.

"Yes, just a study session," I replied then went to grab my keys to my locker from my bag.

Before I opened my locker I saw a folded-up letter slipped into my locker door.

"Nora? What's this?" I asked her assuming that she pulled a prank on me.

"A letter? Who gave you that? Is it Kenma?! Let me see!" She shouted, her voice echoing at the locker's hallway as she grabbed the letter from my hand.

"What?! No! Give me that back!" I tried to reach the letter from her hand though she is a bit taller than me.

"Wait wait hold up, it says here from Kenma." She reads the letter as a big cocky smirk formed on her face which I can clearly tell that she will tease me all day about it.

"Give me that back!" I finally grabbed the letter then opened it and starts to read.

Hi Y/n, you must be probably wondering why is there a letter slipped into your locker door, I wrote a letter instead because my phone died and I forgot to bring my charger. I'm not very good at writing letters, but I'm sorry Y/n, I won't be able to come to your house later and study with you because an emergency occurred suddenly and I had to rush to the hospital with Kuroo; I apologize and hope you understand; don't worry, I'll take you to the park again after the test as my treat.

I folded the letter and held it; I had to admit that my smile faded as I read it, I felt a pang of disappointment, but I completely understand his reasons; it may be a personal issue that has nothing to do with me, but I can't help but be worried.

"Emergency? I wonder what is it." Nora also told me a bit of sadness in her voice as well.

"I don't really know... but it's none of my business really and I think I'll just avoid asking him, I don't want to intervene."

I sat in my dimly lit room, at my desk, with my paper and pencil, and began to scribble random thoughts in my head that then turned into sketches.

Our first and second tests were completed today, and tomorrow is our final test and the day we will receive our test scores. To be honest, I'm more worried about Kenma's score than mine.

I continued to sketch but then there was a knock at my door.

"Come in!" I yelled through the door.

The door opened and my mother appeared with a tray in her hands filled with food then placed it at my desk and sat in the other chair beside me. "What are you doing?" She asked.

"Nothing, just letting things out of my mind." I replied.

"Shouldn't you be studying for your test instead?" She asked sternly.

"I already did, Mom." I lied, I didn't really study due to my procrastination, it's my habit now though I'm really confident that I'll pass my test.

"You better, or I'll have to force you to leave that art club." She said standing up and walking off to my door to leave my room.

"Good luck with your test, Love you." She then turned her back and left the room.

I froze as she said that she'll make me leave the art club, I clenched my fist while the pencil in my hand broke into two pieces, I then got frustrated more and banged my hand on the table, in the end, I forced myself to study not wanting to fail.
