Chapter 23

Third Person POV

"Hurry up everyone!"

Before your boss arrived, the entire staff in your department arrived at the office early for the urgent crucial meeting. You were shaking your hands and ready as everyone in the meeting room was in chaos.

"Hinata! Hurry up and get the adaptor from my office desk!" Yachi yelled as she hurriedly rushed through her paperwork.

"It's now 7:50 p.m., and there are ten minutes left." Tsukishima murmured as he relaxed in the rear of the room.

"Why don't you lend a hand here then?!" You rolled your eyes while he only chuckled and tilted his head.

"No thanks, secretary; I completed mine a few days ago." While pushing his glasses up, he teased.

"Kags, can you please help me save this file? It's not saving." You asked, and you went to grab on your other laptop to connect the screen to the projector.

"All right, that's it!"

You stated it as everyone exhaled a sigh of relief and sat down in their chairs.

"Wow, that was terrifying." They groaned.

Kenma was standing there as the door opened.

"I received the adapter!" Hinata yelled from behind Kenma as he bumped into him.

"Oh shit." Yachi and you whispered as Tsukki fought himself not to chuckle'

"It's okay, Hinata, please proceed." Kenma smiled at him as Hinata walked away.

"So this company has employee favoritism?" Your brows furrowed and your arms crossed as your jaw dropped.

"Please get the presentation ready." While you were doing that, Kenma motioned you to come to the front. You took a deep breath and started speaking, not wanting to fuck up again.

"We can see the statistics and the talks in the meeting between BBC and Inarizaki here on the screen, and the Inarizaki Corporation offered an important proposal in which they would like a collaboration and convinced that we would have more benefits and our stocks would rise, but someone overplayed them." You stated while Yachi assisted you in displaying the presentation on the screen.

"As a result, we'll either have to devise a strategy for acquiring Inarizaki or risk overplaying them with the BBC's plan."

"Inarizaki is known for its financial stability and how they deal with its clients, and they have a lot of connections." You made an assertion.

"Suna Rintarou, their Chief Financial Officer can let alone plan an entire report on this," You added.

"Enough with the chatter; I've heard enough of them and their so-called financial nonsense," Kenma remarked. "Now I'd like to hear our plan."

"Of course, Mr. Kozume. Please scroll the screen farther, Ms. Yachi." You requested while she nodded in response.

"Our plan is we should have a plan in place for dealing with financial transactions and contract negotiations. Our legal counsel needs to connect with our finance staff more frequently, and our company's focus this month should be on profit and how money flows in and out throughout the year." You confidently stated while smiling. Hell, you didn't let your all-nighters go to waste.

"I'm impressed, Secretary L/n. Learning quickly are we?" Kenma's face appears amused, as seen by his smirk and the way he's leaning back at the chair.

"Thank you very much, Sir Kozume."

"Everyone, please prepare reports and schemes; I'll give you a month to complete them, and please notify the other team; they have tasks to complete as well." Kenma rose from his seat.
