Third Person POV

18:00, the clock ticking.

You were at the office, typing on your computer, while Kenma was out visiting the building and doing some business. You were awaiting Kenma to call and give you the location for the date.

Yawning, you looked outside the window, the office was dim, with only the city lights being the source of the light.

Ring! Ring!

Finally, you hurriedly pick up your phone as you answered.

"Kenma?"

"Hi, Y/n, how are you there?" Kenma cooed on the other line, even on the phone, his voice still sounds reassuring.

"I'm fine, how long will you be there?"

"Mhm, I'll take my leave soon." He said. "Oh and, I'll send you the location."

"I can't wait to see you," You said. "I'm excited to see the venue also, I'll be waiting for you there, okay?"

"Of course, I will."

"And also, I'll hire secure—" He said but was cut off.

"No need, Kenma."

He stayed quiet for a while, on the other line he sighed.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes, thank you Kenma, you've done enough for me." You smiled, even on the other line, Kenma knew that you were smiling from your tone.

You didn't want to bother him in the least, but you knew you'd be safe after hearing his comforting words.

"Okay baby, stay safe." He couldn't help but chuckle. "I'll see you."

"Goodbye!" You exclaimed.

"Oh and Kenma." You called his name before you hung up.

"Stay safe also!" You said, on the other line, Kenma didn't care about the business meeting or so whatever, just him hearing your voice were already enough.

"I'll be waiting there, okay?"

"See you later."

You opened your car as you walked to the company's parking area; it was the one Kenma had gifted you and then immediately taught you how to drive. And there, you'd drive the car at least once a week, and the other days, Kenma drives you to the company even when going home, so he bought you a car whenever he didn't have time to drive you home.

Opening your car, you sat at the driver seat, but you noticed something off, reaching for the seat's sides, you adjusted it; the seat was lower than usual; furrowing your brows in suspicion, you exited the vehicle, checking the door locks and the wheel.

You remembered something that Kuroo said.

"If you noticed that the seat was adjusted, even just for a bit, inspect your car for a while; there's a chance that someone got in, and who knows what they did to your car; it's very dangerous these days." Kuroo told you.

"Right, but the doors are locked though." You scratched your head in confusion. "I need to ask the security." You said, but you checked your time and noticed that it was almost 19:00 and you'll be late for the date.
