Third Person POV

"This is all your fault Kuroo!"

You grunted irritably at the phone call with Kuroo as you hurriedly fix your documents and wait for your Uber to arrive.

"What are you talking about? I mean, thank goodness you have a job now, isn't that fortunate?"

"You work for one of the city's most successful corporations, and having Kenma as your boss gives you an advantage in restoring your relationship."

I know I should be grateful that I now have a career that allows me to pursue my passion, but...

"Do you really think that working with someone with whom you have had feelings for years and who has left you suddenly with no explanations has no impact on me?

...and doesn't affect my job?"

"And I have no plan of making up with him; just a boss-employee relationship."

Kuroo could only sigh on the other end of the line. "How is your meeting with Kenma at his home?" Kuroo asked suddenly as you raise your brow suspiciously.

"How'd you know...? That I was at his house? And that I had a meeting with him?"

You only heard Kuroo playfully whistled.

"You, Lev, and the two girls set us up, right? I knew it."

Kuroo then hung up the phone.

You rolled your eyes as your uber arrived and placed your phone in your pockets.

You arrived at the building and the first thing that caught your attention was the tall glass walls, the building looked huge and probably even more than his mansion.

Looking up as the sun's reflection in the tall glass walls hits your face, you breathe in the fresh air as your sign of good luck in your interview.

You entered the building, surprisingly a few employees look very astounded as they greeted you with a genuine smile on their faces.

A red carpet was greeted inside as you make your way to the receptionist.

"Goodmorning! Y/n L/n, applying for a job in this company."

"Y/n L/n..." The lady receptionist mumbled as she typed in the computer, hitting the keyboards loudly.

"Hmm, I see you working for the-- Research & Development department? Finally." The lady receptionist said as she observed me.

"Excuse me? Where can I see the Human Resource department...?" You asked, confused about what the lady said.

"Oh, My apologies for my unprofessional attitude there, I hope I don't make any first bad impression young lady." The lady said as she apologized.

She then gave you the directions to where the department that you were looking for was, to be honest, she reminded you of the servant back then at Kenma's home, they act the same and also almost looks the same age.

You almost walked for 20 minutes in the building while looking at the picture on your phone that the receptionist sent to you; it was the building's map, which was chosen to make because people here are prone to get lost due to how huge the building is

As you make your way you bumped in with someone.

You looked up to see who you bumped with and saw a woman with short hair.

"Hi, you seem new, I haven't seen you around here before."

You quickly apologized and bowed, but she only smiled and said it's okay.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Y/n L/n, I'm applying for the R&D department, I have an interview meeting with the Human Resource team at 8 a.m." You greeted.

"Oh, I remember now." She told as she nodded and smiled.

"Yes, and may I ask who you are, miss?"

"I won't say my name, for now, I want you to know it yourself and explore more about this company." She answered.

You blinked as you grew confused.

"But don't worry, I will give you a tour of this building and introduce you the company." She said as she smiled sweetly.

"Sure! Thank you." You thanked her and maybe luck would be on your side today.

You both walked down the corridor, the interior design of which appeared to be very modern, and she introduced you to the organization, its laws, policies, mission and visions, and so on as you passed through the building.

"Mr. Akihiro Kozume, Sir Kozume's father, who was the former chairman and CEO of the BBC, founded the company years ago."

You listed all the necessary information that she said that may be useful in the future.

As you walk through the building, you notice a range of semi-opaque glass walls, as well as a number of spaces with doors leading to hallways and other areas.

"Sir Kozume had a rough upbringing; his parents, especially his mother, placed a lot of pressure on him; he had to perform routine lectures, strict learning, and more."

"Mr. Akihiro was rapidly aging, so he had to delegate the responsibility to his son, which made him an heir since Highschool."

"However, an incident occurred that caused the company to falter, and Mr. Kozume was forced to hurry to fill his father's position as soon as possible."

"Accident? What happened?" You asked curiously.

"Figure it out yourself." She said in a hushed tone, but her smile remained as she stared straight ahead down the hallway.

As you heard her statement, a cold wind blew through your skin, giving you chills and goosebumps.

You quickened your pace when you noticed that she was ahead of you; you didn't want to get lost again.

"And for that, Mr. Kenma Kozume is now both the CEO and Chairman of Bouncing Ball Corporation."

You arrived in the Human Resource Department. A tall glass door was welcomed.

"Many people have tried to decipher the Chairman, as well as the mysterious events that happened, but none succeeded and have even been fired from their jobs."

She gripped the door handle.

"Therefore, you need to think twice, no not even twice, but more than thrice before saying anything to Sir Kozume."

Pushing the glass door open, you were greeted by a cold breeze, and everyone sitting in each cubicle turned their heads to the entrance.

"And he never gives a second chance."
